I've seen the hood decal removed on some Mach 1s on this forum, but I've read way too many posts here. If you stripped everything you may visually confuse the uninformed, but there is no confusing the sound of the Mach 1 for an Ecoboost.

I hate that for you. That purple is gorgeous. I would take it to a few detailers around you, some are skilled enough to blend touch up so you'd never notice it. It's like dry wall, anyone can patch a hole, but a quality repair takes skill.
