Yep it was sounding like malarky when I started thinking about it. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't the crazy one.

Hey y'all. Its time for the next oil change, so I went to my dealer's site to schedule an appt. They're recommending a "premium" service that includes oil and filter change, tire rotation, "multi-point inspection," AND Wynn's Puroil Ethanol Treatment and Wynn's Supreme Plus Engine Oil Treatment...

H Pipe hands down. I've got the Steeda H on mine, and its deep and thunderous in track mode while still sounding like the fabric of space and time is ripping when its up top. Less rasp than an X up top.

I just put a Steeda H pipe on my 20 with active, and I immediately felt a difference in the low end. I was quite amazed!

Come to think of it, I hardly see an M1 on the road. I'd love to have one for the looks and performance, but they're more car than I can afford right now. My GT will have to do. I'll never understand M1 hate though.

Cool! Coyotes without cats legitimately need something to tame that rasp. Otherwise, to my ears, they just don't sound good.

Catless LTH with an x pipe seems like it rips the fabric of time and space! I've heard the Magnaflow tru x does tame longtubes a bit. I just wish they did a tru H.

Anybody got any clips of their gen 3 coyote with long tubes and OEM active with resonator still on? Thinking of doing long tubes on mine, but I'd like to hear how it might sound first. I'll need to keep my resonator to make a half-hearted attempt at keeping my neighbors satisfied. Thanks!

The car finally did it again, oddly enough at the same store and under nearly identical circumstances. Caught it on video. Does this sound like the transmission issues you mentioned?

Yep I’m taking it in for a trans fluid flush tomorrow to see if that helps anything.

I think mine also does what you’re describing. Surprisingly, I haven’t found that concerning. You have any clips of it doing that?

I think I found the video you referenced, and the sound from my car was very different. I’m starting to lean towards Jstang23’s theory given the way the trans has been behaving.

Yep I was thinking about taking it in to have the transmission fluid level checked (though I took it to the dealer for “The Works” 2 weeks ago and they said “everything was fine”) because it shifts pretty harshly and clunky sometimes. Some shifts are quite audible and I’ve had a few downshifts...

I sure hope that’s all it is. I noticed a pop a few weeks ago when I started it up, but I remote started and was several yards away, so I couldn’t really get the whole magnitude of it. Again no issues. These are fun but quite quirky cars!
