When I get paid I will post so everyone knows how long it takes, they picked up the car Saturday. Also note that Carvana only offered $40,099 and people have said CarMax is similar so apparently Vroom is the only one that's high.
Here is my 2021 M340i. The reason the picture looks weird is because the iPhone now takes pictures in HEIC format so I took a picture of the picture in JPEG format and posted that to save the trouble of going outside and taking a new picture.
Carvana quoted $40,099. Car had 4,800 miles. The question is why did they pay so much ? I'm thinking maybe they have a buyer for a black one or maybe they believe used cars and in particular Bullitts are going to keep increasing in value. My Ford dealer has virtually no inventory. In any case...
Bullitt used prices are unbelievable right now. For Example I paid $45,957 for mine with every option except Recaro seats and with 4400 miles KBB.com says in very good condition it is worth $45,523 trade in. Wow. VROOM has some listed for $47,000 on cars.com.
Personally I think it's OK for a car dealer to ask anything he wants for a vehicle. There are plenty of people who $10k to them is like a dollar to me. However I would never pay ADM or even MSRP. It is true that before covid there was no way to make any money in new car sales and the holdback...
You can get perfect smooth shifts if you understand that when going from 1 to 2 you need the tac to drop by 1/3 so 66% of what it was, from 2 to 3 70%, the rest 75%. For example in 1st accelerate to 6k rpm, shift to gear 2 and let the clutch out at 4k, then back up to 6k, shift from 2 to 3 and...
I was surprised that I'm not buried in my car. I put zero down and took the 84 month 0% loan. I didn't make any payments the 1st 3 months. So now after having made 9 payments of $597 I owe about $44k which is about what my car is worth since I only have 3200 miles on it. The used prices have...
I don't think the fit and finish on BMWs is anything great now. The interior on my Bullitt is better than the BMW 3 and 5 series. They just ain't what they used to be probably because they have "invested" all there money in electric cars.
That M5 wasn't as good a car as my Bullitt honestly. I had a 3 year lease on it and when the lease was up I turned it in and got the Mustang. The M5 replaced the 911 I mentioned previously. My take on cars is the high dollar German cars might have been worth the money back in the 70s and 80s but...
The last few days sometimes when I depress the clutch to start the car nothing happens. So far a 2nd or 3rd try works. I read some older threads that said if you depress the clutch and the brake pedal hard it will start. It was time for an oil service so I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow.
It's almost heresy to say that I had a 2012 Porsche 911 the 997.2 variant and I didn't think it was anything special. This Mustang is a much better car. It looks better, the technology is better, it sounds better, and it's quicker.
CR is a bunch of left wing looneys. I wrote them and asked why they keep pushing for higher and higher CAFE laws. I said that I understand emission laws but I don't understand why there are any laws regarding miles per gallon especially since we are energy independent now. If someone wants to...
I'm 78 and have a 2019 Black Bullitt with 3,200 miles. I've owned it since April 2020 when it was new. Incidentally I get a ton of compliments on the car and most of the people never heard of the movie.
