I sold my Bullitt to Vroom for $48,681 !!!

Carvana quoted $40,099. Car had 4,800 miles. The question is why did they pay so much ? I'm thinking maybe they have a buyer for a black one or maybe they believe used cars and in particular Bullitts are going to keep increasing in value. My Ford dealer has virtually no inventory. In any case I'm delighted. I leased a BMW M340i to replace it. It's Sunset Orange and can do 0-60 in 3.8 seconds. Why would anyone buy an M3 when this is a lot less money with pretty equal performance ? I'll try and post a picture later.

thats a great price! congrats on it, I have been contemplating switching it up myself. Unfortunately i cannot seem to find another vehicle that isnt 80K plus that i like as much as the Bullitt.

the new M3 is hideous with that front end. I really hope they don't do that to the upcoming M2

every 3 and 4 series has that big schnoz front end, not just the M cars.

They are not really increasing in value, it's just the current market shortage. People who are buying these cars used are getting hosed right now. Next year big discounts will be back. This is a year to sell, not a year to buy.

Exactly right. Last year at the start of the shutdown was the time to buy. Inventory was high and dealers were scared the lockdown would last forever. I bought a new mustang & ranger. Got silly good deals on both. I could probably sell both this year and Make 15 grand after owning them for one year.

Nope. I drove it off the showroom floor. No accidents, hail, marks or scratches. Sitting at 9200 miles now. I actually did this offer thing end of March, I think. Maybe it was timing?

Used car values are nuts crazy right now…. Carvana, CarMax, Vroom, etc. are all paying big bucks because they’re sucking the inventory out from under the used car auctions and dealerships…. They’re selling it just as quick too.

Here is my 2021 M340i. The reason the picture looks weird is because the iPhone now takes pictures in HEIC format so I took a picture of the picture in JPEG format and posted that to save the trouble of going outside and taking a new picture.

When I get paid I will post so everyone knows how long it takes, they picked up the car Saturday. Also note that Carvana only offered $40,099 and people have said CarMax is similar so apparently Vroom is the only one that's high.
