It's not dropping and holding - it's literally just holding RPM then the whole car drops. Example:
- shift 3rd
- rev to 6000 RPM
- clutch in > rpm held at 6000 > shift 4th > clutch out > rpm held at 6000 for another moment > rpm drops > car lunges
Lately I started noticing that it happens...
Nobody is talking about luxury level seamlessness. But when one car is lunging forward rather violently, and another does not (under the same conditions) what does that tell you? I drove plenty other S550's and none of them exhibited such behaviour.
Is there a way to permanently disable this functionality instead of having to turn it off on each startup? If not, can I at least permanently turn down the volume of the beep? It's so freaking loud...
If you need to know, I normally wouldn't bother with this feature, but the car was on the lot...
I just ordered ZL1 addons flaps, but regret spending the money because I recently met another owner that made them himself and they looked great for about $20.
Can someone please post a picture from the front and top down on how much more tuck can you get on pp2 with camber plates? I'm not a big fan of poke on my pp2 and planning to install MM camber plates.
PP2:
- potential issues with the engine in the long run
- new mt-82 is either fine or downright awful - it's like playing the lottery (personally had to get 1st/2nd synchros replaced)
- Awful rev hang on high rev upshifts (potentially due to dual mass fly wheel)
GT350:
- I'm sure they have...
Hey guys,
Looking at the Varrstoen ES9 set. I have PP2 with magneride (not sure if it affects fitment) and stock ride height (not sure if I'm gonna lower yet). Looking for a nice flush fitment but also to fill the gap. Available choices:
19X9.5 +22 / 19X10.5 +35 | 5X114.3 | 73.1
19X9.5 /...
Interesting. Thanks for the update, although I'm confused how rev hang relates to engine oil being topped off.
I too notice that it's not happening 100% of the time. Sometimes it shifts perfectly, but sometimes I get really bad rev hang 3 > 4 > 5 > 6 - like every gear the car lunges forward.
