  1. 2019 MT-82 lunges forward on upshifts

No, dual mass flywheel and twin-disk clutch are new for 2018+ MT-82 mustangs. I've never experienced rev-hang at high RPM in my 2017, which is why I am not sure what I am experiencing now is a problem I need to fix or normal occurrence and I just have to live with it.

Not what I wanted to hear :\
  3. 2019 MT-82 lunges forward on upshifts

Sort of. I was never told what the problem was. They just told me that they replaced 1st/2nd gear synchros and the shift fork which appears to have resolved the issue with 1st gear popping out and 2nd gear moving around.

Does anyone know if I can replace the PP2 spoiler with the track pack one? Can I cover up all the holes?
  5. 2019 MT-82 lunges forward on upshifts

Looking for help understanding a potential issue I'm having with the updated mt-82 (dual mass flywheel, twin disk clutch, etc.) in my 2019 PP2 car. When I wring out a gear (any point at 5k RPM) and upshift (say 3 > 4), my revs hang which causes the car to lunge forward rather violently when I...
  6. PP2 Tire Change

There is no point of buying PP2 if you do not intend to track the car. PP1 does everything on the street just as good.
  7. PP2 real life pictures

Mine popped out of 1st gear the night I drove off the lot. Pretty sure it's synchro, but I dropped my car off tonight for TSB work that might not even fix the issue... List of other issues from the lot: - Loud howling noise specifically at 115 km/h. Go slower or faster and it's gone. There is...
  8. CORSA Exhaust for 2018 GT / Active & Non-Active

My only complaint is the quad tip fitment on 2018+. The tips are almost touching the valance on the inside and there is no side-to-side adjustment (only up or down as shown in the video). As for the sound, it's sounded amazing on my 17 and still sounds fantastic on my 19.

  12. August 2018 Mustang Sales

I drove off the lot in my 2019 PP2 and it went right back to the dealer because tranny was broken and some noise upfront at highway speed.

  14. New 2019 MT-82 - advice needed

Thanks for the advice guys. Took it to the dealer today. 1st gear popped out 2 times on the way over with very mild acceleration around 3.5/4k rpm. Went for a ride with a technician and he popped it 2 more times. They are reaching out to Ford Techs for further instructions. As for the shifter...
  15. New 2019 MT-82 - advice needed

I just picked up a 2019 MT-82 GTPP2. It's got 150km on it and I have a really bad feeling there is something wrong with the transmission. - shifter moves with throttle in 1st and 2nd. I have not taken the car past 4.5k rpm yet - shifter popped out of 1st gear one time around 3.5k rpm. I was...
  16. GTPP Brembo clearance question

Does anyone have an idea of what is the minimum requirements for wheels to clear brembos? Which OEM wheels, other than GTPP wheels, will clear them? I saw some 50th anniversary 19s for sale and wondering if they would fit. I'm asking because I need to get an extra set for winter.
  17. 2015-17 Mustang V6 at the Track

As multiple members have mentioned, you do not need to do ANYTHING to the car other than be mindful about your brakes. Depending on the track you plan on going to, it may be slow but very brake intensive or fast with hard braking zones. In any case, the last thing you want is to stomp on your...
  18. PP2 real life pictures

New PP2 301a owner here. As much as I'd love to go through 46 pages of useful info, can someone provide some cliff notes to PP2 ownership. So far I've got: - Tires options are: 305/30/19 MPS4S or Potenzas. I'm looking for dual duty tire for occasional track days, so 4$ seems like the better...
