As @Jerryinpa said you could upgrade to an AGM in the future. However, to answer your question, your car was supplied with a flooded cell battery. You can future proof by purchasing a battery charger/maintainer that is capable of charging both flooded cell and AGM style batteries. There is a...
Adding the molded mat to the console is a modest, yet satisfying upgrade to those that have the fabric tray in their console. It would be interesting to see if the console tray substitution from molded mat to die cut fabric was a permanent change or a temporary change.
Here is a picture of the factory installed unit in my car. Some of the aftermarket units are made up of multiple pieces that may allow you to lay down the vertical portion.
Not a 350 owner, but a Mach 1 owner with the factory Rear Seat Delete. You will not be able to fold down the factory unit as it is a single piece, molded thermoplastic composite.
Thanks for the reply. My car was built in August of 2022 with a Blend Date of 08/11.
I plan to keep the original fabric piece. One other oddity, when I looked up part numbers for a 2022 console, there was only the rubber mat listed as the tray.....At least from what I could see using on-line...
Maybe a stupid question...but here goes. I have a 2022 Mach 1, that I ordered and purchased. When I picked up the Mach at the dealership I noticed inside the center console a flat panel of high basis weight non-woven fabric. The fabric had been die cut to fit the bottom of the console. The...
I suspect a weak battery is what caused my dash to reset as I usually have the car on battery charger. When the car was at the dealer for a week, who knows how many times the car was started to move around the shop. I know I started the vehicle numerous times to move it around the garage the...
As mentioned above, I think my car is behaving fine now with no cluster resets over the course of several days. Please let us know the outcome after you have an opportunity to take the Mach to the dealer.
Just a follow up to my earlier posts in this thread. I have not had all of my cluster settings reset again after the initial occurrence. I probably have at least 10 ignition cycles since the reset first happened. I guess I am in the clear. @Valbugi - what did your dealer find on this?
I use black gaffer's tape on the access panel to keep the edges level with the belly pan. The gaffer's tape doesn't come off until I pull it off. Gaffer's tape is similar to duct tape but uses a rubber based adhesive that leaves zero residue and the tape is very pliable.

As mentioned above, my car also had the BCM update right before this happened. The dash settings were intact when I picked up the car at the dealership after the recall. The dash settings remained what they should be until about 3-5 restarts later.
Thanks. I understand how MyMode works. What is happening with the OP's car and my car is any settings made in MyMode AND general settings were all reset to factory. I had to go back in and setup my gauge layout and several other settings that are not used in MyMode. I then had to setup...
Yes it just happened to me about 2 weeks ago. I had my car in the dealer for warranty work and the dash was fine when I drove the car home. The dealer also performed the body control module recall. (I think that is what it was called)
After getting the car home from the dealer, I had to move...
I have never used forscan and I do not know what the charge level settings mean. Hopefully someone else will answer your question regarding BMS charge level.
Anytime you install a new battery, your best option is to fully charge the new battery using a 10 Amp or higher charger that is set to the type of battery being charged (AGM or Flooded Cell). That will fully charge the battery. If using the AGM charger setting, allow the charger to go through...
Thanks for the reply. I will keep Duncan in mind if I have further warranty work. I ended up going with Apple Ford in Lynchburg and I have nothing but praise for them. I had an oil leak and I wanted the Mach 1 front wheel well trim re-attached. The oil pan was leaking where a screw attached...
