  1. Rear-view Camera Crapped Out

And here I figured the whole time it was my fault the wires broke...maybe it wasn't lol.
  2. Guesses on the quarter mile time for the 2018 Mustang GT??

Stock, a good run in a 15-17 GT seems to sit around 12.8s in the 1/4 @ 112mph? I picked up at least 2mph with the FRPP Power Pack 1 combined with my Mishimoto intake with similar DA's. I know manuals are a crap shoot for consistency, but I was always a consistent 108mph almost every run, then...
  3. Rear-view Camera Crapped Out

Check the wiring harness in the trunk. Mine crapped out on occasion, it turns out I probably put something too high in the trunk (5 gallon wash bucket) and compromised the wire to the camera.
  4. Mechanics desperately search for my cutout switch

I actually don't know. Just looked up a subframe drop on another site and it looks like it can be dropped as one unit. Maybe it was actually a factory defect and the mechanic or service writer was wrong.
  5. Mechanics desperately search for my cutout switch

It was a single metallic sounding clack/pop. It would happen only once, when you change rotational direction of the driveline. If you were moving in reverse, came to a stop, put it in first, as soon as you put rotational force on the driveline it would emit that noise once. It could be...
  6. Mechanics desperately search for my cutout switch

I was disappointed that they were so overly concerned about wanting to "try out the exhaust" when the repair had nothing to do with exhaust (it was loose axle shafts since they didn't torque them to spec when they dropped the subframe a year ago). I believe based on the time gaps the repair took...
  7. S550 Wheel well storage?

I just have one of those rasp/shove-the-rubber-nubbins-in-the-hole repair kits in the center console. This left room for my mono amp and the low profile subwoofer/box under there. Fits like a glove.
  8. Mechanics desperately search for my cutout switch

I had the Mustang in recently since the rear end was clicking. Last time the subframe was dropped, they didn't torque the rear axles to spec which caused the clicking. That was no problem since they fixed it free of charge. What I did find afterward on the dashcam was funny. They caught sight...
  9. Official: 2018 Mustang GT Has 460HP, 0-60MPH in Under 4.0 Secs; EcoBoost Sub 5-Secs

Not apples to apples due to new features of the 2018 and whatnot, but I don't think us 2015-2017 owners need to feel too bad about power; we're knocking out around 460hp/420tq with just the FRPP Stage 2 intake/tune. Sure we don't have a 10 speed or a revised manual, but it's still pretty damn...
  10. Theoretically. 159 mph

This is the problem with a car like ours...with a 0-60 of about mid 4's, you get a whopping 3 seconds of fun within most city limits, and maybe 6-7 seconds of fun from a stop at interstate/highway speeds...
  11. GT PP axles/diff popping

Mine is non-PP but I had some clacking going on in the rear axles - they didn't tighten the CV's up to spec after dropping the subframe. Maybe they're loosening over time?
  12. S8 Audi tried to bait me

Last fall I had an Audi RS5 in the lane to the right of me, and I KNEW he wanted to get ahead of me into my lane once the light turned green - sometimes you just know. Anyway, I forgot how powerful the new RS5's are...combine his factory 3.8s 0-60, plus the near freezing ambient temps which...
  13. 2nd Gear Beginning to Fail on GT PP

I believe a gear popping into neutral by itself is usually a symptom of a bad shift fork on that gear. I had this problem on an old Supra, it would only happen when decelerating in second gear, it would pop out of gear. I don't see a tune or transmission mods in your sig, so I'd say you'd...
  14. Custom Painted Mustang

If it weren't too rich for me, I wish I could wrap my Mustang this color:
  15. Power Pack 2 Review (2016 3.15 Auto)

This, or also remove the lower seat cushion in the rear seat. I did that for some PDR work, exhaust sounded 2x louder.
  16. Butt Dyno - Faster After Some Miles?

The butt dyno dictates the passenger seat has at least another 200ft/lb of torque compared to the driver seat.
  17. Exhaust Cutout's

I installed cutouts pre-muffler on my GT as well, but with stock mufflers. I also added glasspacks after the X-pipe because I was afraid it would sound like a redneck truck without something there unless running WOT. I don't love the tone from the glasspacks (yet?) but I still like the fact I...
  18. Pop when coming from a stop

I have the car back, fixed. It turns out when they dropped the subframe about 10,000km ago to fix the stripped subframe bolt which happened when installing the IRS bushings, the tech didn't torque the cv axles on the rear axle shafts, and apparently didn't lube them properly/at all. They've been...
  19. rattles

This is possibly the biggest lie ever told on the internet.
  20. Pop when coming from a stop

Find a new dealer, they should fix it. That's rather unacceptable. If the calipers are getting loose, that's a safety hazard. If the brake pads are loose because of poor shims, that shouldn't happen within 3yr/36K. I don't think mine are brake related though. The sound comes from the back, and...
