don't think its a surprise that the hp/tq figure just got released for ZL1 this past weekend and 24 hours later gt500 test mule surfaces. who is gonna buy a 650hp ZL1 when you wait a year and can get a ~720hp GT500?

well talking about the ZL1, the front page just got updated new spy shot of the gt500 with TT V8 and over 700hp don't think the Zl1 stands a chance.

well GM is going to provide a fix for all 2016-2016 z06 auto owners next month. to me that is good news, cause it will force Ford to do the same thing for base/tech 2016 owners. I have no doubt in my mind that the fixes will be released this year.

I think Ford needs to roll out GT500 soon. I have a feeling it will give the ZL1 some food for thought.

not sure about destroying, ZL1 will be over 150lbs heavier and will most likely be slower in corners. straight line wise it will obviously be a lot faster, that is why I said for big tracks with longer straights the ZL1 might be faster.

probably similar laptimes. in some bigger tracks maybe ZL1 will be even faster. that engine is no jokes. price wise I heard it will be between 60-65k, which is higher than base GT350 but a bit lower than GT350R msrp.

is this car going to be the fastest American car ever made for the track? like, is it going to be faster than a z06 with z07 pack or Viper ACR? My instructor drove me around the track with his z06 w/z07 i can't think of many cars that is going to be much faster than that one.
