  1. ZL1 Addons Front License Plate Bracket

I think it's an awesome solution, but thankfully I live in a state that doesn't require front plates. That is a lot of work to get the bracket on... and you did it twice. Kudos! (I just went through this - 48 bolts and 12 or so push pins...my shoulders are still sore...haha)
  2. What did you do to your GT350 today?

This video (not sure if it was posted previously) helped me out. The directions for the ZL1 tow hooks were so bad, I wasn't sure which bracket was used for the front or the rear...LOL [ame]
  3. What did you do to your GT350 today?

The directions say that you can remove the rear bumper OR rear belly pan. I haven't dug into it yet, but I think I can get it done by removing the rear belly pan. You'll have to drill 2 holes in the rear crash bar and then a hole into the rear fascia. (I believe the hole in the rear bumper...
  4. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Just added the ZL1 front tow hook, 48 bolts and 12 push pins to remove the belly pan and front splitter. Directions were horrible, but the job was not difficult...just tedious. Will be doing the rear tow hook, caliper fexion and new wheels / tires this weekend.
  5. GT350R on coil-overs

I don't know the weight of the Cooltech, but the fit and install (not drilling near brake lines) has me leaning in that direction. I've got a 4 post lift, so it's something I plan to tackle myself (time permitting). As far as brakes, just adding caliper fexion and stock pads. I'm really happy...
  6. GT350R on coil-overs

Hey Ken, Are you doing the Watson roll bar install yourself? I'm in the process of installing some parts as we speak (tow hooks f/r), wheels, brakes, etc. Looking at a roll bar and harness, but thinking of going Cooltech. (I'm local in Raleigh - I think I've seen you around at C&C).
  7. 2017 OW GT350R in South Carolina,

$2500 ADM is solid. I'd jump if I didn't already have one!
  8. Couldn't stay away...

Congrats and welcome to the party! Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the Hellcat, I use mine as a daily driver and use all 707 hp every chance I get... Probably why I have gone through 4 sets of rear tires since taking delivery in July 2015 hahaha! They are two different cars and not in the...
  9. Sell an R for the new GT500? '18 last GT350 MY!

Agreed! I think it's taking an extra long time to develop because the ZL1 1LE and Demon have set the bar pretty damn high for track / drag strip. We're all eager to see what the GT500 does.
  10. Sell an R for the new GT500? '18 last GT350 MY!

I'm not a huge :ford:fan boi, but a true car enthusiast. If I could have one of each, I would... so the latest and greatest from Ford has very little to do with my decision making. I have no idea what the GT500 will bring as far as performance, but I have visions of a straight line / drag...
  11. Cheating on Shelby

You can get into a 2013 for $60k-$70k range, but I'd opt for a 2014 / 2015 for the 100k miles warranty (versus newer). Just keep an eye out for the R28/R29 recall (Oil consumption). If it passes these recalls, then the motor is fine. I'm really wanting to get into a TA 1.0, but the...
  12. Buying Tips for Purchasing Used GT350?

I would get a 2017, so you can get the revised style oil filter canister and you won't have to deal with any oil cooler line recalls (if not already done).
  13. Tool Recommendation: Torque Wrench and Sockets

I have a Harbor Freight TQ wrench and a Digital Craftsman. The issue with the digital is that it only goes up to 100 lb ft. The Harbor Freight unit has held up well, but on hot / humid track days - it can definitely wear out. Picking up an old Snap On Tq Wrench (200 ft lb) from my dad's...
  14. Cheating on Shelby

Don't get me wrong, the Hellcat is a blast... I have nearly 30k daily driven miles on it and for me, it is tough to beat as a daily driver. Big enough to stuff 2 kids in when needed and powerful enough to smoke about anything I see in the mornings. I had a couple Jeep SRT's (WK1) as the...
  15. Cheating on Shelby

I was contemplating selling my R until I took it to the track... now all I want to do is go to the track. Waiting on some new street wheels / tires so I can drive it more often. I'm a little bored of my DD (Hellcat) just because I have car ADD. I am always looking at new toys and want to...
  16. Shelby in Snow

Yahtzee! That's my problem... let me go switch to the "snow" setting and see what happens. ***Edit, Is there a "ditch" setting? Something went really wrong...:eyebulge:
  17. PKAD Presents BC Forged Monoblock and Modular Wheels for the Shelby Platform

Those are going to look great Paul! I feel like I ordered my wheels 2 years ago... but it's only been ~ 2 weeks.
  18. Shelby in Snow

I took my R out in the snow after reading this review and I had huge traction issues. My Sport Cups do have 2 track days on them. What gives???
  19. $30,000 later..

Glad you got pit of your lemon and into a new GT350. Hope you have a lot of trouble free miles...
