I had a Ferrari 458 follow me after cars and coffee, we were driving together for about 5 miles... He beeped and gave me the thumbs up when he turned off. It got some attention at C&C, but not as much as the F cars and McLaren.

Recaros in the R seem excessive, but not nearly enough support with the standard seat belts. I plan to get some harnesses for the track.

OP, similar to you, I always bought the most bang for the buck and had numerous Vettes, CTS-V, SRTs, Vipers.... BMW, Audi, Porsche, MB couldn't offer the performance I was looking for (but owned some of them also). Currently my daily driver is a Hellcat and the R is my weekend / track toy...

With the horrible / thin paint on these cars....surprised anyone would do anything but hand wash.

TTT Just an update, dealer increased the trade in to $49k, with tax advantage = $50,300 My brother has approximately $63k in the car, it has been pampered. Someone should pick it up from the forum before the dealer marks it up.

Congrats on the R! You're gonna love it. I'm curious, since it has AC and radio delete, there is no artificial exhaust playing through the radio...anyone been in an electronics package R and a base R? I'm curious to know the difference in sound.
