I'd go with a 2018 color, due to rarity. Stripes and black top... Would be great to have a 1 of 1 optioned car....
Lead foot and Orange are my choices, black is awesome but with crappy paint quality and sport cups, you'll get sandblasted unless you PPF your entire car.
I'm in a similar situation. I drove a non R and I loved the fact you don't hear rocks being thrown. It makes me cringe...
I'd love some nice aftermarket wheels, but don't see anything out there that calls out to me.
Swapping out tires on the CF wheels makes me nervous.
Any pics of the candy apple red on a white GT350 R?
Can I get a quote in R spec?
Also, do you have any wheel / tire packages available?
Feel free to PM me.
Thanks!
I wish the track pack looked better....I could have saved some $...hahahaha
The wheels on the base car are meh, at best. The CF wheels and stance set off the R and the rear wing is one of my favorite parts of the car. YMMV
I have paint protection on almost every vehicle....Xpel in the HC and Suntek on the R and the wife's Durango. The paint on the Mustang is absolutely horrible...and if you look at it funny you get a rock chip.
I think it's mandatory to do at least the front bumper and rear view mirrors. I...
Agreed!
I lived in a state that required front plates and I just paid the ticket. Now, luckily do not have to run a front plate.
I did buy a new SUV for the wife, and the dealer had to get it from a store out of state. You guessed it...bumper drilled. I was crushed but didn't say...
Oil cooler line recall... AND some good driving to and from the dealer. Saw a Destroyer Grey HC and it got behind me for part of my back journey. No chance to play with it. I assume I was kicking up some stones as he hung back.
What a fun car! Had my stereo off for most of my driving...
Ford knows these cars consume oil, just ask the dealer. They'll tell you what rate is acceptable. I'm working on getting drunk and don't re.... What were we talking about?
There is a separate push pin that is shipped out. It's what is used to attach the cooler lines to the frame. That is what we were waiting on.
I just had mine done this AM and it was painless.
Hello all,
I'm looking at getting into another vehicle and decided to put my R up for sale. Under 1k miles... Just completed it's 1st oil change @ 912 miles and scheduled the oil cooler line recall for April 1st at the dealer (friend is a service manager and will be doing the work).
I have...
I was a big Chevy fan for years and owned 4 Vettes (C4s to C6s), since the C6 I haven't been a fan of the styling; specifically the C7 or gen 5 camaro. So for that reason alone, I wouldn't...
The GS, C7 Z and ZL1 are impressive cars, but I don't feel they are "special". If you like the looks...
Ford already has your money... Financially, it makes sense to fix the cars on the lot so they can sell them. (They've already lost a boat load of money from not being able to sell current inventory and buyers going elsewhere).
IMHO, if the recall was serious they would tell owners to stop...
If you want something special, I'd go with a pre-owned Gen 5 Viper. You can find them in the $60k range. I still regret selling mine... I drove a TA 2.0 at Bondurant for a 2 day driving school. Absolutley loved it. The presence and experience of owning one is awesome (and the Viper...
