because cross drilled is a bling bling thing
it is so embarrassing driving cars with cross drilled rotors. same category as fake exhaust. - actually it is worse than fake exhaust, at least fake exhaust don't detract performance like cross drilled rotors.
What Demonic said. Thermostat don't do a thing for track driving. What it does is delay few minutes of warm up. So it might help a little on street, but not track driving.
I've owned over 50 cars. Not a single muscle car (domestic sport car). I bought the GT350 because of Voodoo engine. If it were coyote engine making 700hp, I would of ignored it.
High maintenance and issues (flat plane v8 shakes everything apart) are to be expected. Most here won't experience...
if track guys follow Tirerack "recommended wheel width", 1/2 of us won't have a wheel to run.
I race a Miata - 205 Hoosier runs on 9" wide wheels. 295 for 11" is plenty wide.
yes, Hoosier runs a little wide. but still....
Exactly the opposite. non-AC car will be worth more in the future. historically, the more hard core, the more old sport cars are worth over time. in this case, even more so, because non-AC car is also rarer (which is not always the case in the past).
with most cars with staggered tire, they really ARE staggered. with GT350, it is 295/305. that's barely 3%........ why bother ? most cars are 10-25 %
wouldn't it be so much easier for inventory, to just go with 305 all around.
