Tuesday bump.

Anyone have an aftermarket catted downpipe installed and tried to pass smog with it? I'm considering buying one, but I don't wanna have to do the stock-parts-dance when I have to get my car smogged next time. Will it pass with the aftermarket cat?

Just read about this updated tune business. How do I do this? I still have the connector thing that came with the tune but I just handed it all over to the shop and had them flash it when they installed the air intake. Can I do this myself? --B

You monitoring your intake temps? I'd also like to see some airflow numbers. Not sure if anyone has actually measured CFM or anything like that. I keep seeing posts referencing this idea that the stock airbox produces better results than aftermarket, but I've yet to find or see any hard data...

I keep hearing this. Anyone have a link to a post with some hard data to support it? Also, is the Ford Performance tune specifically paired to the GT350 intake that comes with it, or would it run as well or better with the stock intake? Is there data to support this assertion either way...

Bumping because I can't really figure this out either. I can't seem to get a straight answer. When I leave the car in D and flip the mode to Sport+, the throttle is really responsive and if I mash it, it'll go all the way to redline before it shifts. I can't really tell that it's doing...

I put mine on the little rubber mat in front of the shifter. I got a good quality 6" USB cable to plug it in right there, no excess cable hanging off to get tangled up in things. It's a Samsung S6 Edge with a thin case on it. Works great, never slides around.

Most likely. The turbo-hiss sound you hear is the blowoff valve venting to atmosphere. A bypass valve dumps right back into the intake, hence less audible sound. It'll work the same with a new intake.

That would happen to me periodically. The only way I found to fix it was just to reinstall Pandora on my phone. Then the car would find it over bluetooth again. Since I installed the Sync3 update with Android Auto I just use it that way now.

If you're running a 5 channel amp you can just set it to send a full signal to the sub if you don't have a dedicated sub output coming from the head unit. It just sums the front/rear left/right channels internally and sends the whole thing out to the subwoofer. There are also DSPs you can get...
