I don't know. I still have an ebay bulb floating around in my housing. It didn't have enough ferrous metal in it for a magnet to work. I tried putting gum and tape on the end of a screwdriver but couldn't make that work either.
Went with red on my DIB. Looks great at night. Very bright. You can even notice them from directly behind the car.
Some advice for install, it's very cramped back there. I found it easiest to pinch the retaining clip between my index finger and my thumb. Once I did that I got enough leverage...
I came from an E92 BMW on coilovers to a performance package GT.
My wife always complained about the BMW's ride, but never complained about the stock PP GT ride.
I switched to BMR springs to lower the car and she didn't even notice the difference.
The ride can get a little bouncy but...
After staring at my markers before getting in my car after work I decided to order some in red (DIB car). The illumination from the stock bulb doesn't fill the whole marker and has a bright hot spot right in the middle where the bulb is.
Stop taking my money. Please.
I have no idea why I want these. Are the stock markers ugly or something? I don't understand why they need to be replaced and yet I'm considering buying these
Probably the same thing as the little dimples on the front bumper where the license plate bracket goes. I doubt ford racing made a completely new mold for this panel.
It seems my driver's side window does not get a good seal when I close it. More wind noise than my passenger side and I can actually feel some air coming through. Is there a way to adjust our door hinges or latch to help snug it up?
How am I misreading this?
No real gains until about 7,000 rpm which is the redline for a stock GT. The extra usable power up to the stock redline is negligible and certainly not worth the cash.
Obviously the stock intake is not designed for going above 7,000 rpm so it's no surprise that the...
Headers and E85 is really the best bang for buck NA mods right now. Stock intake and cams are very strong.
Cams are suspect at best. Even the GT350 intake doesn't seem worth it for the amount of money. Yes it has a big eye popping max HP increase, but the effect on the power band is really...
To be fair, in NY your car is not tested for emissions if it is less than 2 years old so you can theoretically get away with it until your car is required to be tested
To my knowledge there is no way, at the moment, to trick the 2015/16 mustang ECU into thinking that it has performed a full emission test when in fact you have rear o2 sensors turned off.
Yes, there are ways to do this on other cars (subarus, bmws, etc) but there is currently no way to do it...
If your tuner turns off your Rear 02 sensors you won't experience a CEL (they turned them off so you won't have a CEL), but you also will not pass a modern OBDII emissions test. The OBDII computer can tell that your rear o2 sensors are turned off. Older cars are allowed to pass even if they have...
