The guy made my Aston Martin CF wheels so I am sold on his ability and when he saw the exposed R wheels - he said I can do that. He even torque tested the hubs for 140lbs and made them 12” for the drag radials - I run 1/2 mile shootouts
How’s 28,000 miles on a Whipple 2.9 and 5.2 in a 2018 GT350R - Was 908hp the whole time (did the build with 300 miles) upgraded the same block 00350 to a sleeved RPG version / flipped to E85, 22 psi and no issues with 4 digit dyno numbers to make great 1/2 shootouts - it’s a great combination...
Installed - they fit thanks for the confidence - they didn’t send the banjo bolts so had to spend hours running around looking for one and then the second one - it’s a 10x1 met vs sae like fomoco - bedded and can’t wait to see how they power down from the 1/2 next weekend in Texas -
Racing Brake updated their website - it was an error - we will install this afternoon and post a happy picture - bet that typo scared away lots of business as the way it read was not compatible with 19” wheels as 20” required-
they fixed the site
Challenges - sounded like a great idea and I went with the Racing Brake set up - they will be here today but I just read they require 20” swaps - so with exposed Carbon Fiber wheels on the R - that caliper change with cost closer to $20,000 - it’s silly because RB knew what it was going on and...
On order waiting for shipping confirmation. Red calipers - pads - adapters - so do you feel the increase in rear grip keeping the car flat and balanced
What a thread - I have one of each plus an 18 V12 Vanquish - they are not in the same plane but satisfy the driver in different manners - the AWD tri-motor Tesla is a killer 0-60 and embarrasses my Shelby and the Vanquish - but the Vanquish is a global SuperCar that peaks at 211 with its AMR...
That’s awesome - I just emailed for availability - I have a line on some GT500 ones - just need pads - they are 3.5” hole to hole and I just haven’t measured mine.
I might have missed it but will the GT500 rear calipers fit on GT350R - I have carbon ceramics on 4 corners and feel I need a little more rear clamping pressure on 1/2 mile shootouts
I have had the same issue with Lethal - kooks shorted parts and the made me double pay for the catbacks they never shipped - poor service from them both lately. At the expense of my credit card - they claimed the shortage with Kooks - took the credit and double billed me.
Going the other way when a slight noise was confirmed after a Ford Performance Oil Pump Failure - kept the numbers matching set up 5500350 and went RPG Stage 3 long block.
Maybe they’re need to ban forest fires, ships and planes too -
All farm tractors - semis - road maintenance machines - backhoes - cats - and of course Union Pacific rail and all other -
Guess stocks in Briggs & Stratton will tank
