Buyers like me? The ats-v does not appeal to me whatsoever. I'll most likely never own a Cadillac in my life. GM definitely wasn't targeting me with the ATS-V. And you have no idea what influences my buying decisions. I don't care about the ATS in any capacity.

I don't care if they lied about the ATS-V or not. I'm not going to buy one of them. I do believe that the base 1SS manual will weigh less than 3780lbs. Even if that turns out to not be true, I don't care because I'm not buying one. I'll just tell you I'm sorry for not believing you. But...

I have sources that say what really happed was the dyno wasn't calibrated correctly and actually gave 7-8% higher ratings for both cars. So the Z28 actual is around 505hp. BUT this must mean that the GT350 is overrated from the factory it must be somewhere in the 500-505 hp range. Given Ford's...

Don't bother. I'd sooner believe someone weighing their mustang at 50lbs lighter than fords curb weight than a GM fanboy weighing a Camaro within 10lbs of chevy's curb weight. You're just in on the conspiracy and are trying to discredit Mustang Jesus.

I don't know how to quote you an Poop. But he did say this is his last post: "I don't think either is really any notably better than the other as far as bang for the buck in the 'new' market." Doesn't sound like he was saying the GM engine is better. The rest of his post looked more like...
  6. 2.0 Camaro v. 2.3 Mustang

I don't know anything about either engine but I'd assume from the stock numbers, larger displacement and the serious gains some of the ecoboost guys have had, that the mustang will be the better performer. I'm curious to see if the aftermarket can coax some performance out of the 2.0 chevy.

I would still expect header and tune to net more than 29TQ.

29 pk TQ sounds pretty weak. This article is from May '14. I'm guessing that the aftermarket has improved since then and will continue to based on the much higher volume of LT1s that will be out there once the Camaros start shipping.

How is rate of RPM climb calculated and measured? Is it dependent on gearing and load? Is there a number that represents rate of rpm climb?
  10. '16 Camaro Reviews are starting to hit the sites.

I don't think the LT1 is maxed out from the factory. Intake, tune, exhaust, cam etc all give great gains. I do think the 5.0 can make more power gains per $. EXCEPT cam since the LT1 only has 1, it is much cheaper. Ford definitely could compete at equal performance for the same price. It's...

The air vent definitely looks like a terrible spot. I'd probably have to just keep those closed and let the heat/cold come through the other 2 vents. I definitely see the owl c*ck too. That's hilarious.

For any new viewers, here's a recap of this thread and some previous, now locked threads: 1)mag tests put base GT around 3705 and loaded around 3850 2)pill doesn't believe these weights ar accurate. Instead believes there are some sub 3700 GTs out there because some members have weighed in in...

That's the best body style for the camaro. Hands down. IMO.

The 1le may smoke the GT. But you definitely smoke rock. Gt350 sucks? 0-60 times? Lol.

Nobody thinks the camaro looks good. The ONLY reason people buy it is because it was in transformers. I swear you don't know anything.
  16. Dimensional difference between 2016 Camaro & Mustang

Noo I'm sooo serious. All hail planB.

I was worried. I thought maybe Pill was so upset he killed himself. We can call off the search and direct our efforts towards helping Michigan fans off the ledge.

I've got no problem with people complaining about the bailout GM took. I just hope everyone who does isn't hypocritical enough to complain about it while being on or having a wife/spouse on WIC, welfare, state health ins, or walking away from a mortgage or claiming bankruptcy.

Also curious to know how many miles the car had and how they were driving. The lt1 C7 gets pretty good highway mileage. The camaros like 350-400lbs heavier though. I'd think 26 hwy would be normal. For city or spirited driving, mpg will decrease proportionally to the amount of fun your having...

How many tanks could they really have gone through and was it enough to get an accurate take on the fuel economy?
