How is 14.5% so efficient that no camaro could possibly be more efficient. And seriously different dynos! Come on. There's got to be something up with the z28 though

You have no interest because that information discredits your SS ringer theory. The pulls were on different dynos. Comparing HP/TQ discrepancies of 1-3% of different cars on different dynos is useless

If the SS is a ringer I think they would've juiced it up a little more. Seriously 3-5hp and tq gains isn't worth the effort. Different engines, different temp and humidity, over a year apart(who knows what condition that Dino is in, do they need calibration over time?) there's no evidence to...

Something has to be up with that MT Z28. There is no way a stock ls7 should be putting down that power. I know what your thinking and no, ThePill did not hack my account. I will say this. Even if it's a ringer, the GT350R SHOULD beat the Z28 easily, even If it is a ringer pushing out approx...

My guess to why they didn't release the lap times is so they could have another feature article for a different issue. If they were to test and say everything there was to say about the camaro and mustang in 1 issue they'd be screwing themselves out of sales of some mags and traffic on there...

MTs findings may not hold water... But yours definitely don't hold fuel lol

Obviously haven't driven the SS but my brothers GTPP has the base cloth seats. I'm only 5'9 and I workout frequently but not that big. But Holy Sh*t the seats are too tight on the lats lol.

I agree. I just think Ford did itself no favor by sending a loaded car to the review. That is how it works right, manufacturers choose the car to send? Buyers know that you can get leather seats, premium sound systems and other luxuries in these cars. I'm sure the GM wants us to buy loaded 2SS...

What's your DD? BTW not trying to be a smart*ss just curious if you DD an outrageously fast car too. I wish I did.

Exactly. This is the same reason why loading up a 2SS to compare to a GT350 is a worthless comparison.

I agree that this test seems a little skewed. A base GTPP would have been a more valid comparison. $47,350 and 3,825lbs is a loaded car. 50-75lb weight loss should have made a slight difference in performance metrics. I just hate the as tested comparison there $38,600 vs $47,350 looks terrible...

To be fair he was talking about the ignition defects. There is/was something fishy going on with that. and people did die. This problem is not exclusive to GM(not an excuse, those who made the decision should be held responsible) and despising the Camaro is not a logical response.

The ATS-V 3700lb estimate does seem a little off to me. I wouldn't call it lying or trying to buttf*ck the customer. The thing is, I doubt any of the ats-v buyers were anywhere near as concerned about weight as potential Camaro buyers. It seems that most of the criticism of the 15 Camaro were...

I think what your saying is... we're in the Matrix.

I've seen you arguments on why the Camaro will weigh 3780+. They seem to have validity. The thing is, it doesn't matter if you reasoning is sound or not when you submit your speculation as fact every time. he outcome will determine if you are right or wrong. There's no partial credit for showing...

The question is: If the base 1SS weighs less than 3780, will you admit you were wrong?

I know! It is interesting though, I would have thought that forum would have exploded by now.

I think its possible that the Camaro lovers over there love there cars just as much. There may just be less Camaro lovers. Either way, this is the place to be for discussion, debate and debauchery when it comes to mustang vs Camaro.

That's what I'm getting at. If the GT is going to get faster and lighter, the GT350 will need to as well. I can see GT350 weigh savings measures trickling down to the GT. I just wonder what was left on the table for the GT350 in terms of weight savings.
