I love that the Lead Foot Gray sold for the most money, not counting the 2015 of course. (Announcer got the color wrong as far as I can tell.) Good love my one year only LFG color! 👍
When my car was new, all 4 TPMS were off by 2 PSI. I checked it with 3 very expensive Longacre gauges and one cheap gauge. The TPMS was off. Then at some point the following summer, they were accurate. Go figure!
I had random tire pressure drops of about 7-9 psi on one tire when the car was new. I brought just the wheel/tire combo in to the dealer without the car cause I hate bringing my car in lol. It was a leaking valve, fixed under warranty. Although they were very puzzled and not sure how to write it...
No surprises here. Lighter cars do well on auto-x. And both cars have more power than they can use on an auto-x track.
That was a well done video. I'd like to find one like that on a road coarse.
I just found this one... the GT350 is not stock (tires, weight reduction, race prep) but it was...
@IceAge What feeling? Can you explain what you mean?
Please elaborate on the DCT? I ask because I have a new Audi A5Sportback with DCT, my first, and I really like it - but only when in S mode, when in D mode it sucks balls. But in S it's always in the right gear, even downshifts or holds...
2018 with about 7,500 trouble free miles (knock wood!). Never added a drop of oil between changes. Oil checked cold before every ride.
I sleep at night with my 8 year B2B warranty under my pillow.
That was a very good, honest write up. Thanks for taking the time to write it. I can relate to everything you said. I think the bottom line is the old adage: So many cars, so little ______ (time/money/garage space). 😁
Not according to the owners manual. But I know this topic is right up there with which oil is best and should you change the oil before or after winter storage? LOL But I do know that each engine is run on the dyno at the factory, so there's that.
(I broke mine in according to the owners...
I just read this entire thread! I like much of the banter. I like the diversity of owners both in experience, background and age. And I was just about to post my opinion (based on my GT350 vs recently sold 911/996 Aero vs my current Cobra FFR vs ???) when all of a sudden on page 6, SOMEONE GAVE...
A friend of mine just had his show up at the dealer. So it was JUST built and it's Chassis number about 1,500. Seems odd based on that spreadsheet, meaning, I can't imagine there are too many left to be built if they stop producing them in December. How are the Chassis numbers assigned...
Is it me or does this stripe look better, more continuous than the OEM stripe? I don't see the breaks at the body seams. Maybe the stripe rolls over the body edges. Not sure. Got a closer pic?
Bottom line: to each his own.
When I got my car I felt the side was too plain, so I started researching side stickers. A LOT. There are at least 4 problems with side stripes, particularly this one:
1. Obviously, the GT350 emblem would need to be changed to avoid being redundant.
2. The fender vent comes too close to the...
