Good questions, not many have gone much further I don’t believe but the reasonable thought is good fuel system (e85) and strong tuning with tire/suspension you’re possibly high 9 in great air. I wrote a check for 30k to pay mine off last month and have the itch to say screw warranty but I’m...
For another example. I purchased a 19 GT premium from a dealer, had the roush kit installed by them phase 1. Later upgraded somewhere else to the phase 2 then went back to the dealer when my cel came on and Roush covered the warranty. No issues with Roush warranty, honestly I’m shocked at how...
Stymee, you don’t know it but this thread is important to many people I think. I check it often just to see what’s up. Appreciate you all keeping it going.
Been too lazy to go hammer on mine to get the check engine light on and my lightning is at the shop right now. Once I get it back I’ll go get the fuel pump code and take it to my dealer. See what they say
I’m super tempted to say screw warranty. I just paid my 19 off this week. I too though want to see what the next cal looks like but if the cars not well faster than 90% of the stuff I come across randomly here in DFW then it’s time to do something different.
Wouldn’t wait, only reason is I am is because I have the suspension install scheduled for tomorrow. The more of us who “show” this issue the more likely we are to see a change in something.
For real....I was on here a couple weeks ago ranting about it. Sourced a fuel kit to just go corn but decided to wait. I want my warranty enough I guess to deal with it. Disappointed tho
I spoke to Roush too, told me not to do a BAP or I’ll void warranty. Asked me to recreate code and immediately take to dealer. I will do it after this week. Tomorrow getting stop the hop kit and springs installed! Def needs more fuel for the cal. Also confirmed mine doesn’t have the 123...
This is false, phase two has significantly reduced heat. Find YouTube and brenspeeds videos. IATs were equal to or less than whipple. Torque curve was better also if I recall correctly.....I personally have it and would like a different setup because you can’t grow as much with it as you...
In another installment....let’s say a guy bought the roush with little research or thought this would be plenty only to decide he would much rather have a whipple or centri. Assuming said fool had all stock parts is their much else that would be needed to switch? Specifically a whipple, could...
I’ve ran mine up past 120 on multiple occasions. A10 w/P2, I do however find myself with a check engine light on after 130 or so with a fuel pressure code.
I called Roush warranty myself because of all my check engine lights and my disdain for my dealer. He was adamant I get it checked out, to a point he offered to help in anyway get me to a place so they could review the calibration and diagnose the issue. I was impressed.
Good deal, going to give the dealer another shot before I say screw it and spend the money on a fuel system and E tune. In the mean time ordering suspension parts, will start there.
Spoke to Roush about my issues and the low fuel pressure codes I continue to see. Advised me DO NOT use BAP If I like my warranty. Wants me to get it to the dealer as soon as code comes again and ask them not to test drive but immediately upload data logs. Can pretty easily duplicate code so...
