Just give me a car with around 200 miles range and I'll jump on that in a second. That would work perfectly for my commute of 102 miles round trip per day. And as I only work 3 days a week my commute expenses will drop a lot, since each trip comes out to $32.00 per day including bridge tolls...
With the comment that Cory made about the 22vdc. I'm probably going to with the FuelMax with the pedal switch. You can limit the max to either 18vdc or 22vdc. Plus it's got other functions that the EZ doesn't. Better to have and not need than need and not have. Thank goodness I came across this...
OK, so does anyone know which ones do regulate voltage according to demand? I've got the DW400 that was supplied with the Whipple Stage II kit and considering adding a BAP for insurance.
Maybe look for a spare wheel instead? There may be one at a salvage yard for cheap, or someone might be selling one in the classifieds.
You could always look for a emergency spare at a salvage yard as well.
I built my own system for a hell of a lot less than the CR Spotless system. I basically built a DI-120 and my cost was around $160.00 opposed to $299.00 MSRP. I did start out with their resin cartridges. I also added a TDS meter onto mine and I also have a water softener with a hose bib...
I use deionized water to rinse. No need to dry, since the water doesn't have any dissolved solids in it to cause spots. With a black car, this method works great for me.
I had mine installed by a muffler shop here in the Bay Area in December of 2020. I also found a performance shop close to me, that was willing to do it. There are shops that will do it. You just have to call around and explain what you want done. I guess, since I had the stock cats have flanges...
I'm in California and like you, only have 91 octane available. I use Boostane Professional to give me the extra level of knock protection. I run 0.43 oz per gallon and the cost of the boostane is 37 cents per treated gallon. Cheap insurance.
It's been my experience with Whipple, that calling them gets things done quickly. I had an issue with a few parts missing from my kit. One phone call and they sent the parts overnight that day. I've never used email with problems. Person to person contact has been good for me.
Looking at the MMR, Boundry sprockets on the Lethal website. Both are listed as 2015-2020 fitment. So it appears that the Ford sprocket should fit. When in doubt, call them.
If the pump is running with the ignition in the "OFF" position, I think the fuse tap is in a location that is not switched. If that is indeed the case, look for a fuse that is only "HOT" when the ignition is on. My pump comes on, only when the ignition is on and engine is either running or off.
It's my understanding that the Mustang dyno is considered the "Heart Breaker" dyno. It's termed that, because the Mustang dyno numbers are typically lower than Dynojet. I don't know how much lower the typical numbers are from a Dynojet.
