Do a forum search for a Hyundai Equus spare tire. It fits in the spare tire well. I did mine for more than 50 percent less than the Automotive Authority spare. YMMV depending on machine shop costs. Good luck.

If I'm doing freeway driving and not aggressive with the gas pedal, I can get 24-25 mpg. Around town and stop and go traffic, the MPG is terrible. But I'm assuming that most people who purchased a Mustang knew that these cars don't get the best of mileage per gallon, especially when boosted.

When I was running E85, I'd get mine at a Chevron on A street in Hayward. It's just a few blocks to the west of 880. It was always 85 percent as read by my ethanol gauge.

I do think that you'll have to unbolt them and inspect them from the front. I don't think that you can determine the condition of the core, just by looking at heat patterns on the body.

I don't know about what kind of performance gains LTHs bring to supercharged setup, but if you are looking for NON catalytic ones, you'll have to buy a used set. A lot of manufacturers and major retailers have stopped selling them.

If you're going to open up the engine. I agree with the above post, throw a set of forged pistons and rods into it and be done with it. That way, you have the headroom to go up in PSI for more power. Plan for the future.

I'm in California and live in an area that gets into the 90's regularly during the summer. I've not had any temperature issues and I'm also boosted. My car is slightly lowered and I've yet to drag it, but like anything, since I've said this, I'll probably drag it now.

It's not so bad of a job. You just need to be armed with a 12" 1/4" extension and a few shorter ones. You also need a true, IIRC 10mm 1/4" swivel socket, not a socket with universal. With the whole pan lowered, dabbing RTV, is easy.
