I will probably have mine on the dyno this week. I'll let you know what it puts down.
What gear do you guys have the car in to dyno? I have 3.55 rear gears.
I've used BAP on other cars before. BAP isn't part of the Phase 2 on Gen 3 cars? I would think a Gen 3 car would require it more than a Gen 2 car due to the dual fuel.
I'm not aware of any issues with the stock system for Gen 2 cars with a phase 2. I assume the Gen 3 cars are having issues due to the higher pressures required for the direct injection side of things?
You're kidding, right? Did you not see that Audi pull away?? I didn't see the time it ran, but the Audi is probably capable of breaking into the 10s and trapping upper 120s+. Tune and tires isn't going to get anywhere near a drivers race.
Agree completely and 25 WHP isn't going to gain 10...
Only 16% loss for an AWD is pretty optimistic. They have found that there is a pretty big difference in power when switching these cars between AWD and 2WD on back to back dyno runs via programming. It was in the 7% range or more loss when in AWD mode. You also can't really look at...
Yes. it would be around 500+ crank hp. I don't know where you came up with your calculation. I suppose 410 rwhp would be 465 crank if you think a car has less than 12% drive train loss? Typical rule of thumb is around 15-20% drive train loss. That would put a 500HP car in the 400-425 rwhp...
Does anybody know why the afr gauge on the dash reads richer than the ngauge reading by around .5? I would think they should be using the same sensor and have the same reading.
You have an aftermarket tune and it's still in the low 10s?

Yeah, Kind of like the fart can on a Honda Civic. Mine is pretty loud, but I just have the stock diverter valves venting to the atmosphere. I don't have a BOV or a charge pipe or any of that stuff.
I have downpipes, upgraded intercooler, upgraded fuel pump and MHD/BMS tunes. That's all it took and I'm at 500HP and over 500TQ. :like: Many of them throw on an intercooler first because that allows them to run just a few more LBs of boost. Those are no where near 500HP.
9.6 at wot is really rich. It should be running close to 14.7 cruising. I notice my dash afr sticks around 14.0, but my ngauge says 14.7. So I don’t know why the gauge on the dash seems to read rich.
I didn't think the car felt like a 700+ HP car when I was on the Roush tune. I recently installed a VMP tune with the ngauge. Now it feels like it should.
Mine phase 2 makes no noise from the blower. I was very surprised myself. My 04 Cobra blower is loud enough that it drowns out the exhaust sound which is loud as hell (Sounds about the same as the hellcat). It's very loud inside and outside the car. I also never heard of the sound tube until...
The only thing other than the P2 is a Borla Attack exhaust. As far as I know all P2 cars should have a BAP as part of the P2 kit. I don't think any additional fueling should be required for a custom tune. If anything it might require less fueling as the car was running pretty rich with the...
