In theory, it's all 5 weight at start up, the car doesn't see real cold weather, the car the way we use it averages about 10 mpg so I didn't ask those questions as they weren't a concern for me.
No. I have the gauge on the dash (PP) but rarely look at it. Oil temp is usually what I have up on...
I ran FR20 first and had issues with Cam Phasers codes, there is a thread I started in this subforum.......at track days and autocross. The weather was warm but not hot, mid 80s. The way it was explained to me was the the cam phasers are last in line on the pressure train, if there is not...
Actually you will find several harnesses installed that way and they all fit within the design parameters set by the manufacturer. I don't like it either.....I think its weird.

Cheap slip over knee pads.....seriously.
Power seats? What I used to do with the S197 was slide the seat back, pull up on the belt to tighten the lap belt and then give it a quick jerk to lock the shoulder belt. Use the magic of electricity to slide seat forward and belt stays tight. Make...
We talked briefly about the 20" 'stone in the FS thread. It looks like about 63 mph would be top speed. In STP where you get power mods to offset the rotating weight and you can lower the car to offset the diameter, it might be worth it if buying wheels anyways.
FWIW, the data from the DL1 shows 60-60.7 on the rev limter with 285/35-19s in second gear. I couldn't find the mathematical number in this thread for what it should be, but I thought 59.xxx was the number.
So the 20" wheel gets you to maybe 62.....downhill......with a tailwind.
Somewhat...
Because silly season, does anyone have the math handy for top speed in second gear.
Where do we end up with a 285/35-20? Theoretical diameter of 27.85"
The tire allowance/handicap doesn't bother me at all as that is so much easier to fix from a competitor stand point. I just can't wrap my head around the 10" wheels and would love to know where the logic came from on that.
Dear STAC, you're dumb and I'm right! maybe I should do it in call caps.
:) I keed, I keed.
Seriously though, I don't see any reason to handicap the wheels. See the FS testing at nationals. See that no other class uses suspension design to determine wheel width. See that IRS guys are...
