  1. SCCA ESP Thread

Shocks can not control how much weight transfers, they can control the _speed_ at which that weight transfers. Too much front compression will overload the tires too fast and the car will continue to push until you unwind the steering wheel. Strano worded it best. Compression controls...
  2. SCCA ESP Thread

Good post but I have a question. How would less rebound help corner exit oversteer? Less rear bar and more toe in all make sense but I can't see less rebound helping the situation.
  3. question about traction/stability control

Strongly disagree. You will not learn anything about your car or your abilities if you leave the traction control on. If you get used to matting the pedal on corner exit and letting the TC do its job, it will end badly when the TC isn't there to save you. Shut it off and learn to drive.

  6. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

These will probably be for sale at the end of the season so I figured I would post some pictures of the Mike Maier, Inc / JRi struts on my car. I already have JRi shocks on the rear, they went on right before Nationals last year. I went through some painstaking procedures, measured...

  9. Confirming what is legal for SCCA F-Street Setup

You get shocks, tires (on stock size wheels), one sway bar (front or rear) and cat back exhaust.....that's pretty much it. On your list, the only this legal are the shocks/struts, the Strano bar, and the rear hitch. Did you see the whole thread that is all about FS?

  14. 2015+ GT/GT350/GT350R Roll Bar Kits in Stock, Ready to Ship

Is the red one a preproduction unit and can we expect production units to be tig welded like you show in the bare metal pic. Can it be bought with a straight harness bar? Why no pictures of huge baseplates and how they attach to the floor? That is by far the most important part.

  17. Proposed Solo Class STP(ony)
