Haha yeah I was joking. 😁 Wengered wants me to go out for a quick data log so I'll take it for a short drive later and then check the coolant when I get back.
Thanks so the coolant lines are actually metal and not silicone. No way I can squeeze those then. My bro has a steep drive I wonder if I park it on that and take the cap off and let the car run if that would help at all. Something to try! Or dare I just drive around with the coolant cap off...
Cheers. Are the coolant lines the ones I've highlighted? Just trying to get my head around what is located where or I'll be on for days guessing haha. I'll listen out for any clicks when I turn on the ignition, I don't believe I heard any doing just that process - just when I had the low...
Thanks. :) Yeah I'm hoping it is just an airlock too. It was just the clicking sound that had me worried but might be unrelated. I asked this in my other thread I have going but are these the heater hoses for inlet and outlet I should look at squeezing perhaps?
I l iterally just found that same thread and have posted a reply. I wonder if it is these blend actuators as I had some mad clicking sounds when I was struggling to start the car.
@GR11M I have a similar issue. Car has been up on stands for about 2 weeks whilst doing the Supercharger. Battery was flat and I tried to start the car, and had the dash go crazy and loads of clicking sounds. I've also dropped and replaced my coolant, but everything else seems to be working...
Thanks! Do you or anyone know where that hose to the heater matrix is? Only one I know to squeeze so far has been the top rad hose hah. Guessing that'll not help in this case. I did wonder if just driving might help (bumps, vibrations and undulations)?
Totally agree, I would have been stumped without the awesome help.
I do have one more conundrum if anyone has any ideas lol. I have no heat from the heater. Car gets up to temp nicely, I can see fluid circulating into the coolant tank, levels are good, but no heat.
I did hear...
Yey all fixed. Maf housing was wrong way round. Flow arrow was pointing away from throttle body! Changed it round, fired up perfectly. 😁
Reloaded the original tune from wengerd and sent my data log on.
Thank god for that!
Cheers all.
❤
Thanks. Sadly I ran DTC on the TDN app and it said 0 errors returned. I'm hoping it's a simple tune issue before I start pulling bits apart. The first time it happened I ran data logging and sent that file to Wengerd. Not sure if it held anything worthwhile.
There is a step to rotate two of the injectors. I don't know why, as the lu47 injectors look identical to the oem ones I removed. Same size and shape. I was able to disregard the step about using spacers because of this, then it says if they are not clipped right however that it might not fit...
Yeah that looks to be connected. I put some pics up in my thread here if you want to take a look - thanks!
New Vortech Build - Car fires but wthen dies. Please help.
I've even made sure the check valve in the PCV hose that you have to put together is closest, as per the instructions, to the valve cover. Which it is. Can just make out the grey check valve underneath in these pics.
Well she is finished. Doesn't start yet, but here is the last of the install work I did today.
So I noted that with the airbox installed for the JLT kit that the coolant hose was pushed against the side of the engine. I had some spare DEI thermal tape left from something I did ages ago, so I...
