Thanks - couldn't have done it with out you and the rest of the team! I forgot to post in here that the race valve is fitted. So that is the last of the supercharger work done. yey!
I'm also hitting the dyno next weekend, so it'll be nice to get some power figures as I have no idea what...
Yeah that garage is amazing, probably bigger than some peoples houses over here! 🙂 So the oil thing, I did read a few threads and what I took away from most is just stick with the same; it is fine as long as it is good quality. Might need to change it more often. My car isn't seeing any track...
Since getting the Vortech I've had people ask me too, but the instructions do say not to do this. But they do it in Fast & Furious so it must be fine. 🤣
Not much today. Had the oil and filter changed. Only about 8 months overdue oops. Replaced with same as last time, Shell Helix Ultra 5w-30 with a K&N filter. £65 ($80) for 10L. 😟 Also had the garage fit the TurboZentrum H-pipe clamps for me whilst they were under there. Let's see how long...
Finally replaced the bypass valve with the race valve. Took us about an hour in total to get it done once we got the car raised and the undertray removed. It was still mega fiddly with little access; but, it is done. :)

Hah I wasn't... but now I am. I quite liked the idea of the silver as it would tie in with the chrome window trims and the silver 5.0 badging and mustang badge. I guess if I do fit it and don't like it, then it's easy enough to take off to get anodised at a later date.
Some new toys. New Vortech Race BOV just arrived from the states. Going to swap out the bypass valve. Thanks @beefcake!
And then my Drake hood pins which I sourced from the UK. Had to buy some double fluted stepped drill bits in readiness for the hood pins.
🥰
@Drake Muscle Cars ive just purchased the hood pin kit for my 2018 mustang but it seems to be missing the instructions. Could you message me with a download link or a pdf copy please? Thanks.
Flashed Rev.3 from Wengerd to help move the shift points on the trans back down a bit (as they were slightly high). Then followed the flash with a KAM reset. Haven't driven it yet to test, waiting until the weekend for the nicer weather. Then I also ordered the Drake Hood Pin kit. :sunglasses:
Managed to check it out today between showers. In hindsight, copper grease probably not the best thing to use. I now have sparkly bump stops. 🤪 Anywho, looks like it makes good contact. So I didn't make any adjustments.
