engine coolant wise i filled it once and its been good but the heat exchanger/intercooler coolant i fill pretty much every time i take the car out. usually have to add a cup or two to top it off. no leaks so it must just take awhile to work its way into everything.
ive owned both types. they both have pros and cons and in the end its up to you what you want.
IMO i feel the whipple is more of a daily driver/fun weekend setup that fits like a stock setup and can be brought to the track and have fun and to me the centri is more for someone that plans on...
I have the bl-5000, the 3500 wouldn't work with the mustang it's to heavy. I got mine when they first came out I don't even think they have the bl-5000 anymore I think it's called the slx or something like that.
For the mustang id say get the bl-5000slx
I use it on the TT c5 corvette as well, works fine. You may have to jack the rear of the car up to get the lifts under but I highly doubt it. They are like 3" tall when fully lowered.
It's the quick jack by ranger. The part number I have is bl-5000 they make multiple models.
like AF_one stated, go direct or thru ranger. i got it thru a local dealer when they first came out. hands down the best investment you will make towards tools. its irreplaceable.
as for the plastic wrap its just moving wrap. go to any uhaul place and they should have it. just make sure the car...
Ok that makes sense I thought u were just doing a road trip or something. Painters tape does work, just being a spare roll with you. Hopefully the sun doesn't hit it to bad to make it super sticky.
if your that worried about rock chips why not just get a good clear bra and be done with it? it will protect it on those far drives and any other time.
went to a local show today, had a blast. also got my mickey thompson s/s tires mounted, hook like crazy. loving this car, its deffinitly an attention getter thats for sure. i was surprised tho, show had around 2000 cars and only saw 3 s550's
Of course I did bud? I found the same thing in the same amount of time. What you fail to realize is the 27.8 is not listed. They have 27.5 and 28, also the tire circ is not listed the same. ALSO, there are 2 different websites that say the tires are 2 different heights. One says 27.8 the other...
Anyone know the revs per mile number for the Mickey Thompson s/s 305/35/19's ? Having a hard time locating it and before doing the math want to see if anyone just has it available?
well the little issue i had was with the fans popping the fuse in the harness. turns out the harness was just shipped with the wrong size... easy fix. glad thats all it was.
up and running. only having 1 minor issue with the heat exchanger fans that i sent a message to whipple, just waiting on a reply. idles great tho, started right up... no leaks etc. the exhaust stinks tho and smokes but i know its from the new long tubes and high flow cats....
its actually way...
Lol maybe. Whipple took care of me and overnighted the correct harness, I just havnt had a chance to install it yet. Work a lot on the weekends. I was going thru the directions and looking at the harness I had and was like "these no *** plug on this thing that fits the imrc"..... I was thinking...
