  1. Steeda bump steer kit with tension link

Yep, 20mm. Fat fingered. I don't think the s550 chassis likes any geometry changes. According to steeda anything over 1/2 inch lowering benefits from the kit.
  2. Steeda bump steer kit with tension link

Ordered/received my steeds bump steer kit and arms (lower control arm, tension link, bump steer kit) and was wondering after doing a little more reading if this kit is for magneride equipped cars. The Steeda Bullitt have these parts don't they? I'm on the FPP springs and while the 200mm drop...
  3. Oil pressure

Yep, was a 15 minute job at best. I like it having the temp info too. Hasn't went past 200 thus far, but I also haven't driven the car much since the install. What temps are you seeing? Ambient has been in the 90's here lately.
  4. Steeda S550 Mustang Front Roll Center & Bumpsteer Correction Kit (15-19 All)

Is this kit for magneride? I don't recall seeing it mentioned that magneride equipped S550s can use this kit.
  5. BG synchro shift II

Changed out the factory mt82 fluid with the BG synchro shift II. 100 miles later. Cold nibble still there. When hot, much better feel. Snicks into the 1-2 & 2-3 much smoother. Overall, worth the $ and time.
  6. 3K first Bullitt oil change

For those still on the fence about using ceratec - I put it in my 2014 Mazda 6 to test it out first with NO issues! Got another mpg actually. Thus far, nothing weird going on with the Bullitt either. Whisper quiet.
  7. Sync update issues

Yep, same message. Curious about what the update is that won't actually update. Let us know what you find out.
  8. 3K first Bullitt oil change

Not cheap but it worked pretty good. https://www.amazon.com/Proform-66490-Oil-Filter-Cutter/dp/B000CP8DFW
  9. 3K first Bullitt oil change

3K on the motor, nice central coast weather today, so I decided to change the oil in the Bullitt. 5w30 motorcraft, FL-500s filter, and 2 cans ceratec. The engine had no prior ticks or rattles or any weird sounds for that matter compared - at least compared to any of the videos out there. But it...
  10. Sway Bar

I was under the impression that the Bullitt has the PP1 sway bars. Having watched a Zander13 video where he ordered the 17/18 GT350R front and rears bars for his 2018 PP1 GT I did the same. I also had the same look on my face (huh???) when I measured the bars thickness and the Bullitt rear bar...
  11. Mobility kit vs. Spare tire

Getting stranded really sucks so I ordered one a week ago. Due sometime this week. The kit isn't cheap though!
  12. Bullitt: Ford Performance oil separator - drivers side

JLT has one but I don't recall seeing a FP one other than the one I installed. Since we have the gt350 intake it's a clean fit with only one hose needing tweaking.
  13. Bullitt: Ford Performance oil separator - drivers side

When I saw how much oil the passenger side catch can caught after only about a thousand miles I ordered a catch can for the driver's side. M-6766-A50S-Mustang Gt350 Oil Separator. Yep, I've heard they are optional as the passenger side of the engine seems to be the side that gets the most oil...
  14. Any Bullitt engine ticks?

Curious about the build date of the Bullitts with the ticks. We all know coyote engines have a history of ticking, but not all ticks sounds should be concerning. A check for metal in the oil filter should probably be done before anyone starts overthinking it. Could the coyote engine issues...
  15. Steeda IRS (and the front thingy) For Bullitt?

I believe so. I did not do too much spirited driving before the mods but the bmr and steeda kits along with the gt350r springs and alignment specs seem to have taken away any wheel hop for my driving needs. Handling is a little crisper too. The PP1 bits on the bullitt are good but still mid tier...
  16. Steeda IRS (and the front thingy) For Bullitt?

I installed the BMR cradle kit (CB005) along with the Steeda alignment kit when I changed out the springs. For non drag racing applications I don't think you need too much more. Lots of work, but you don't want to be dropping your rear sub-frame too many times as each "project" is another...
  17. I gave her the beans!

I think I'll try to replace the tranny flid and see how it feels. Many people seem to think that Ford puts too thin a fluid in for mileage reasons and that a better fluid (generally thicker) gives a smoother feel. Do you (or anyone else) have the gear nibble until the tranny fluid heats up? Do...
  18. I gave her the beans!

Something like that. It just wouldn't let me pull it into second and I was only at about 58000 rpm and then once from 2nd to 3rd about 5000 rpm, but I think that might be more about the clutch than the shift linkage. I think i might try to change the oil though cuz it's the gear nibbling that...
  19. Any Bullitt engine ticks?

Hmmm.... just saw a post and ford video in the maintenance section regarding a oil spec question. Watch the video if you can. So.....how about this new "Crazy Talk" theory for a Saturday morning. The knock sounds some are hearing is from pre- detonation from oil particles in the combustion...
  20. I gave her the beans!

Agree. Got the Steeda spring. Was the first mod I did. Very happy with the feel.
