  1. I've got analysis paralysis, help me pick my wheels.

Ya know, I hadn't thought about the cleaning angle. Still, the Project 6gr TEN is actually five split spokes, similar to the SP2, no?
  2. I've got analysis paralysis, help me pick my wheels.

So I went and took another look at the Project 6gr site this afternoon. As I posted earlier, the difference in price is >50%. I suspect that the price reflects higher quality, probably in the finish. The concave does look deeper but my brain reminds me that with the same width and offset, it is...
  3. I've got analysis paralysis, help me pick my wheels.

So, does anyone have pics of black SP2's on magnetic? They seem to be in the lead.
  4. I've got analysis paralysis, help me pick my wheels.

Wait until the poll when I can't decide which tires to put on them. LOL
  5. I've got analysis paralysis, help me pick my wheels.

I'd meant to ask about the difference in offset, thanks for the info.
  6. I've got analysis paralysis, help me pick my wheels.

Thanks, I'm no stranger to mods, just not sure which direction to take. Please, feel free to add a vote for the wheel of your choice, I'm completely deadlocked and a handful of votes might push me one way or another.
  7. I've got analysis paralysis, help me pick my wheels.

I like the Project 6gr wheels and I'm sure the quality offsets the price difference, but that price difference is over 50%. My weekend work (where the money for toys comes from) isn't what it used to be.
  8. tire sizes recommendation 19x8.5 front 19x9.5 rears.

You can go up to 255/40 on a 8.5"
  9. I've got analysis paralysis, help me pick my wheels.

Ive been thinking about this way too long and i have to admit, I'm stuck. The goal is a square 19x10 set as light as possible without blowing the budget. The car is a 19 EB, Magnetic with Black Accent Pkg and I'm sticking with that color scheme. When I upgraded the rear spoiler I had it painted...
  10. Wheel/Tire Questions

There's exactly zero difference within the wheelwells of your non-PP GT vs your EBPP. The wheel arches and liners are the same. The hubs and brakes are the same. Any wheel that fits one will fit the other. The ONLY difference between the two cars, from the point of view of the wheel/tire, is the...
  11. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

I don't think that tire is available in that size. 295/35-19 is available though.
  12. Florida SVE R350 Wheels/Tires 19x10 Squared $1,400

I'm looking for exactly this setup for the street and I'm a couple thousand miles closer, but still way too far.
  13. Pilot AS4 vs ContiExtremeContact DWS

I replaced my OE P-zero Nero tires with a set of DWS06 last fall. This is the second car I've had them on and I'll do it again. The sidewalls are a little soft compared to a summer tire, but they aren't summer tires. What they are is a good all season tire and a damn good one for the money. They...
  14. 19x11 F14 think I need a wider rear tire?

Looks like a slightly wider tire might work up front as well. Maybe move those up front and get something a little wider in the back. I actually came to this forum today because I'm finally getting close to pulling the trigger on a new set of wheels and tires myself. I'm leaning toward a square...
  15. Show me you and your Mustang out having fun in the winter snow!!

Driving on snow and ice will teach you about balance faster than lapping a track. Losing grip is the same whether you're over-driving the conditions or just over-driving your tires. Get out there and have a little fun learning how a Mustang reacts.
  16. From 18 to 19 or 20?

I wouldn't call 255/275 "aggressive" at all, it's a factory option after all. Goofy, is relative, it all comes down to what you want. If it serves a purpose, it's not goofy, even if that purpose is just making you happy. Then again, don't go by me, I installed GT350R suspension on my DD/commuter...
  17. From 18 to 19 or 20?

The PP wheels come with 255 and 275, that's about as much stagger as I'd ever want. IIRC, the GT350 comes with 295/305. I prefer a square setup myself, 275 or 285 all around seems to be popular. I understand why drag racers like staggered, and "more traction in the rear." For handling, I see...
  18. From 18 to 19 or 20?

If straight line acceleration is your only concern those sizes will probably be fine. If you want handling you'd be better off with less disparity between front and rear.
  19. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

Sounds good to me, I'm torn between the 2 sizes myself. I'm lowered 0.5” and I'm not sure I want to lift it back up 0.3" to close up the remaining gap. I'm thinking the extra width, and being closer to flush may make the gap appear smaller. Maybe. Mustangs seem low if you're used to SUV height...
