  1. Happy Mustang day!

    27 days older than me.
  2. hammered hell

More than that, it was a hot topic when I joined 3 years ago.
  3. 1st mods?

Trust a dealership? You really are showing your age. :) My first mod was the Steeda 35 lb clutch spring, the stock linkage is a bit numb.
  4. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

This threw me for a second too. He's commenting on the color being lighter
  5. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

I don't recall ever seeing them compared for color. I do know that the SVE version are stronger and substantially lighter, that was enough to make the OEM wheels a non-starter for me. Edit: Maybe check with this member, it looks like they have a factory set and a set of SVE S350, which may or...
  6. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

Had to try out the new shoes in the wet. 170+ miles of monsoon and I'm really impressed.
  7. "Let's be reasonable. We can't do that."

I love driving my Mustang, but it can't come close to the 944. The Mustang has way too much Explorer in it. On the plus side, i can reach the drive thru ATM now.
  8. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

I put some stickers on it. Ignore the handprints on the wheel, I haven't cleaned up from the install yet.
  9. General GMax-RS vs Firestone Firehawk Indy 500.

Just about anything is better than the P-Zero Nero. When mine wore out I replaced them with Conti Extreme Contact DWS06 and the difference was night and day. Still, those are 255/40-19 all-seasons, with all the suspension work I've done I thought I'd see what a bigger summer tire could do for...
  10. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

    Got some new shoes.
  11. General GMax-RS vs Firestone Firehawk Indy 500.

The Generals are on the car.
  12. General GMax-RS vs Firestone Firehawk Indy 500.

Last I heard, General is owned by Continental, but the rest of your statement is true either way. My stock wheels have fairly new Conti EC DWS06 on them, those will be my winter wheels. I considered the AS-05 at the time but I'd had the Contis before and loved them. The price difference at the...
  13. What Brakes Do I Have?

I was just looking for Continental decals like that for my calipers. Are those your's, any idea where i could finf them?
  14. General GMax-RS vs Firestone Firehawk Indy 500.

My Firestone dealer has them for $190, not far from the $170 they were 6 months ago and a whole lot better than tirerack's current $242. The Mavis across the street from there has the Generals for $208 with a $70 rebate on a set. The prices work out within a buck or so and the reviews are pretty...
  15. General GMax-RS vs Firestone Firehawk Indy 500.

I did notice the Falkens, they do seem to be a possible third choice but I've found better prices on the other two so my goal is to pick from those two choices.
  16. 10 in all around

Doh! You are absolutely correct, of course.
  17. 10 in all around

Check my edit. I updated my comment right as you posted. I have less than a degree of camber.
  18. General GMax-RS vs Firestone Firehawk Indy 500.

Baby needs a new pair of shoes...
  19. 10 in all around

I'm just test fitting a 19*10 et35 now. It's about 10 mm tops, maybe less. I don't think I'd want to get closer. Edit; I should add that camber plates are on my to-do list, the 350R springs and Steeda control arms with extended ball joints added up to less camber than stock.
  20. General GMax-RS vs Firestone Firehawk Indy 500.

I mentioned this in another thread but i think it might be worthy of a thread of it's own. I'd originally planned to put a set of Indy 500s, 285/35-19 on my new 19x10's. I think they were ~$175 when I looked at them in the fall. I went on tirerack to order them yesterday and was shocked to see...
