Thanks, now I've just confirm that the GT and EB uppers are the same finish. I really wouldn't call my stock grill "gloss," maybe semi-gloss.

I like my EB's Black Accent Pkg upper grill but the lower doesn't match it at all. Now that I'm thinking about an upgraded intercooler, a new grill would be a "while I'm in there" kind of thing. Has anyone tried this combination? Is the honeycomb pattern the same? Same finish?

I think the Ecoboost Black Accent grill is the same as the GT version but without the fangs. I'm in a similar position, I have no desire to change my upper EB Blk Acc Pkg grill but id like to find a lower grill that matches it.

BMR and Steeda are both known for quality parts so you can't go wrong with either one. Spacers seem like a mistake to me, no reason to use a band-aid if you can get springs that work without it.
