Guess I'll be swapping some stuff on my list. Especially since I found out I can basically build my own suspension on steeda, put together and ready to be put on the car.
So I've been working on a list of my build for my 2017 S550 GT. Ending this year with Steeda subframe braces coming in tomorrow(Rodney @steeda great customer service) and already working on a full build list to get ready for my own personal roadtrip next Christmas break from work.
What I've got...
I'm gonna inspect everything this coming weekend since I won't have much to do. gonna put the car up and inspect all the way around the car without the wheels on probably. or leave them on.
So I've posted on here before, about my driver side dropping down when jacked up, but the passenger side doesn't drop at all. like the wheels are stuck up in place almost. Do I need to get the car jacked up completely off the ground to do this or do I need to find a shop to clock my bushings...
Like the adjustment is nice and all, but in all honesty, I'm guessing i cheaped out and got BC coilovers cause everyone said it was the best brand. But yet, all I've had since I put them on is weird alignment issues, clunks(mostly cause I cant find a shop to clock the bushings) and I'm hella...
So with my BCs, they are pretty harsh even for a daily driver. So I've learned what I'm getting myself into lol thank you for the insight. If you dont mind me asking what are you running?
Thank you!! I've recently ordered alot of IRS components and a few clutch upgrades with the shifter bracket and clutch line. I ordered the IRS alignment bushings, IRS support bushings, diff bushings, and vertical links so far.
So i'm currently thinking of swapping my BC coilovers out in the next few months to the Steeda non adjustable shocks and struts with dual rate springs for my 2017 GTPP. That kit, along with new shock mounts as well. Any opinions?
2017 mustang gt on BC coilovers, and was thinking. Why do my front and rear driver side have less tension on them and are less tight than my passenger sides?
Hmm, Guess i'm gonna keep messing around with everything. I've been under the car on both sides, nothing is bent or torn up. Just had a lower control arm loose for a little bit that I tightened up last week cause it caused a big rattle on the passenger side.
