  1. Help a new driver! Spirited driving, traction control & sliding for a noob driver

People laugh when I say this but if you have a local racing Kart track and they rent shifter Karts, 80cc, 125cc or 4 strokes, these little nuggets will teach you a lot that translates over to regular vehicles. Keep in mind I am not referring to lawn mower powered Karts at miniature golf parks...
  2. High-Flow Catalytic Converters

So paranoid question time.......does doing this potentially mess with the warranty?
  3. Honey Badger's Completely Off-the-Rails Race Car Build and Track Adventure Thread

I'm making plans to come out for that race
  4. Honey Badger's Completely Off-the-Rails Race Car Build and Track Adventure Thread

That run was fast enough to take the pole at the last NASCAR race.
  5. Wrecked / Totaled 2020+ GT500 Thread

I'll be there this Sunday. Just to spectate and check things out.
  6. Wrecked / Totaled 2020+ GT500 Thread

I know who this is. I spoke with him this afternoon an hour or so before this happened. He loved these cars. Great guy. For those of you in Central FL, there will be a honor lap at THE FIRM on Sunday. When it's appropriate I will post more if I can.
  7. End of production of Shelby GT350/R after 2020. Will resale price climb?

Name sake means a lot as we have seen with his cars at auction.
  8. End of production of Shelby GT350/R after 2020. Will resale price climb?

And I'll just add that Shelby American Mustangs will be more sought after and more collectable than Ford produced GT350s.
  9. End of production of Shelby GT350/R after 2020. Will resale price climb?

Remember that brilliant plan by Congress to get all the heaps i.e. classic cars, off the roads? Cash for clunkers I think they called it. If they do that again to push people into EV then that will cut the number of GT350s on the market and the prices will climb just as they did for the 65-70...
  10. GT350 Wheels (Project-6GR)

Well I've made that bed so I guess I get to sleep in it. :sunglasses:
  11. OEM Seat Options

The only adjustment I need for the Recaro is a wider seat or slimmer bolstering esp on the left thigh. It's awkward being on a date and excusing yourself to adjust the boys. Other than that I could sit in this seats all day.
  12. '19 GT350 engine replacement

I do not believe it's necessary for normal street use. It adds another point of failure and more importantly another pathway for Ford to not honor their engine warranty. Not saying this would not be beneficial or that Ford would do so but why take the chance. @honeybadger would probably have...
  13. '19 GT350 engine replacement

From what I understand, Cylinder 8 is in the back of the engine so #8 along with #4 get the hottest. There is a oil line crossover kit that send cooler oil to both cylinders that's supposed to help.
  14. '19 GT350 engine replacement

Thanks for the post @Tomster. My original engine had ring failure with #4 and #8. Both of which are the rear cylinders if my 64k gray matter ram remembers correctly. Knock on wood, around 12k on the Gen 2 replacement and no issues at all. Last oil run I added 1 quart of oil. My catch can caught...
  15. I wanted a heritage edition until I saw this. Now I can't unsee it.

    Interesting take.......... https://www.tomorrowtides.com/opinion-gt350-heritage-edition-badging.html
  16. Beware : Need For Speed customer service

I too ordered P6 wheels on January 8th. I keep getting told that they are in a container "stuck at the port and that they should arrive this week". I haven't heard anything about a back order until March. If this is the case they need to disclose this so we know what to expect. I'm waiting on...
  17. Shelby GT350 Garage Photos

Here is my quaint garage. Florida so no need for hibernation. :)
  18. Help! I am not in love with the GT350R Sound!

I have the H-pipe. A little deeper and throatier. Still batshit banshee at high RPM but not as raspy.
