  1. Help: Koni Yellow and Steeda ultralite linear springs

Yup. The version of Ultralite instructions that came with my springs did not mention cutting bump stops, so I looked up what BMR recommends and cut the 3/8" and 5/8" respectively. I think Doctor Fishtail is right. The rears on the Ultralites are just too stiff. I was able to order the rear...
  2. Help: Koni Yellow and Steeda ultralite linear springs

I have steeda ultralites and koni shocks. I'm bumping out of my seat also. I have my bumpstops cut 5/8" rear and 3/8" front. Front feels fine with Koni's 1/2 turn from full soft. I feel the rear is causing me to jump out of my seat, even with a soft shock setting. Maybe I should cut my rear...
  3. GT350/R Track Videos

I remember seeing the "002" car out there! You passed me after turn 6 and I tried to hang with you from turn 7-9, but you simply disappeared. Great driving by the way!
  4. *GetYourWheels* Shipment of the Day Showroom [Updated Daily]

The V-FE 403 looks nearly identical to porsche 991.1 turbo wheels.
  5. Cutting aftermarket springs?

I had the same issue with my ultralites on my ecoboost. I used a 10mm spacer in the rear to lift the rear about 19mm. The car is about even now. I'm probably going to pick up some extreme ultralite linears later on.

  7. 18x10/18x9 offset question

You can definitely run 18x10 square. Apex sells 18x10 with +43, so you should be fine with +42. You can always add a 5mm spacer on the fronts so you don't have to worry about rubbing against the strut. IMO 18's look perfect on the S550. Here's my 18x10 ET40 running 275/40 tires square...
  8. Steeda Ultra Lite Linear Stance

These are my results after lowering my ecoboost on ultralite linears. I've driven the car about 15 miles and gave it over a week to settle. Looks like I need to raise the rear 0.75" in order for it to be level.
  9. Just how fast is a FBO Ecoboost

I decided to do some non-scientific analysis on this post. From Glenn's original post, you can see OP gives it full gas at the 0:38 mark, where the speedo on the bottom left reads 176kph. This full acceleration seems to be sustained till the 0:58 mark, where the speedo reads 247kph. So he did...
  10. Koni is here!

For the first time my the estimated availability on the TireRack website has actually gone down! From 5/21 to 5/18!
  11. Anyone in CA install FI and pass smog

Not only that, smog techs can face felony charges for falsifying a certificate.

I found the OP's facebook posts.
  13. Manual Transmission: A lot of heat entering the cabin?

Thanks for the input. I wonder if the transmission is getting hot to the point of damaging itself. As far as I know, there is no way we can see the temperature of the trans fluid on the MT-82 cars. With the GT350 tech packs going into limp mode over trans temps, this has me worried (yes, I...
  14. Manual Transmission: A lot of heat entering the cabin?

Am I the only one experiencing heat entering the cabin around the center console? Most noticeably the cup holders and the area next to the footwells get very warm. This mostly occurs during spirited driving where I keep revs above 3 or 4k for extended periods of time. Are other drivers...
  15. Waving

One of my neighbors has a S197 GT. This afternoon he was pulling into his house as I was driving out. I flashed my brights and he threw me a rev as I drove by.
  16. Non PP Ecoboost

Do PP cars have a "soft" boost gauge in the dash cluster? I've never seen it.
  17. Front PP rotors

Audi Bolt pattern is 5x112. I don't think that's gonna work.
  18. Full bolt on part out?

    I'd take the intercooler :)
  19. Lug nut wheel torque question

The OEM lug nuts have a soft outer coating that sort of mushrooms out over time. Mine used to take 13/16" until one day I couldn't put the 13/16" socket on. I used a 21mm to remove them and I sanded down the soft outer coating.
  20. Koni is here!

Konis just got delayed again on the TireRack website: Fronts 4/22/16 Rear 5/06/16
