@Charlie
look at the IC Chiller system. I have it and did not by pass my HE. A new brick, HE or pump isn’t going to keep the IAT2’s in check. It’s been proven over and over on the Roush 2650.
Look up IC cHiller. Their system is top notch and will eliminate your heat soak issues. Several of us that run the Roush 2650's are using their set up now on our cars. Its a plug and play kit so no hacking up of your system and the AC will work as it should all the time. They actually have a...
Get with IC Chiller and speak to them about their system. Myself a few others just put it on our Roush Gen 3 cars. Keeps IAT2’s down and heat soak is gone without losing anything on the AC side of cooling your cabin.
Yeah you are right about that..It was the lesser of two expenses. Either sell the Roush for next to nothing and spend $1000's more on a different route or spend $2K and be done. I chose the $2K route with the chiller. It fits my goal for today.
Roush fought it with the dealership..Ford pointed the finger at Roush and Roush pointed the finger at Ford. Once i showed the service writer this in the owners manual and I said I just wanted it fixed it got fixed. Took me about a month of dicking around. Been through two sets in the past 7500...
Cats are covered..Ive been through several and if you are out of base warranty their is a separate Federally mandated warranty that Ford has on their cars. Here is from the Ford owner manual for my 2019.
hey
So I picked up the car today. Not that much louder when the car is in quiet mode. It’s more raw sound if that makes any sense. Like a muscle car. With exhaust in track mode it’s extremely loud when you get into the throttle. I’m use to the stock sound so it will take a bit to grow on me. It...
yeah I have catless LTH’s with the stock resonator and stock Roush active exhaust. I am going this afternoon to pick up The car. So I haven’t heard it with exception to a video.
The shop GR got everything wrapped up last night. Car ended up making 699/601 to the wheel on a remote Dyno tune with Wengerd. I will post graph once I get it from the dyno shop. The IC Chiller system was doing its job. Several pulls and no heat soak. The system is doing its job. It’s not a band...
Mine is in the shop having catless LTH's put on but it is a Roush car stage 3 car so it will have their active exhaust. Leaving the stock resonator on. I will let you know
seems race stars or VMS are the most popular options unless you want to spend the money on a set of Weld Wheels. For me I will take the VMS or Racestar when I buy. If it was a weekend track car then I would spend the money on the Weld wheels.
