First step when you need to would be to flush brake fluid to something DOT4 like Motul 660. Higher boiling point. Replacement with OE pads should be fine for you until you are consistently driving the limit numerous track days a year.

That's with tires.

Most tracks don't allow for the bull ring front tow hooks anyway due to close proximity contact, and most everyone has converted to tow straps instead of hooks. If you have a four-off event on track, the wrecker will hook on to whatever is quickly and easily available - control arm, axle, etc...

Are you guys driving around on public roads with the tow hook in place? Or just for track use?
