Selling this because I ordered the wrong colors, and it comes from Lithuania, and they only credit 40% on returns, and I need to pay shipping.
I already reordered and installed the right colors, so just trying to recoup some of the cost.
It is Matte Anthracite center with Gloss Black and Gloss...
Definitely a quick sled, in the right hands. I ran with one at the Glen, (same color too) the last time there.
He'd jump ahead on the straights, but by a few turns, I was passing him again. Lol.
It's not obvious, but there is some slotting there.
I have not viewed it in person myself, but the information is coming from our chief instructor who owned an S550 GT a couple years ago.
Thanks. I’ve already slammed the factory adjustable upper camber plates, but the GTs had notches in the knuckle to adjust camber. Wondering we have those as well.
So, in follow up to my previous post of other ideas for the belly pan...
Summary - All but two of the screws behind the splitter were gone last time, and the cheap threaded inserts were in various conditions of either missing, pulled out and still attached to the screw, or still intact.
All...
Does the '22 HP Mach 1 also include lower front camber adjustment on the knuckle like the S550 GTs?
Or is it just the camber plates up top only?
Thank you!
I finally figured this out, (I think).
If the incoming rev match rpm will put the motor at, or over redline, it won't flare for you.
It sucks, because when you finally get into the lower gear, it really upsets the balance.
If scrubbing more speed isn't needed, it just means you're getting...
So I got meatballed this past Monday for my belly pan coming loose.
Front was still attached, but back side was flapping like crazy.
I was able to zip tie the back to the frame to get back on track, but wondering if there is a better solution?
If I go to the dealer to reinstall, I’m think it...
The rev match function matches the rpms as soon as you touch the gear, but aren't actually engaged, giving you enough time to realize you went from 5-2, instead of 5-4 because you'll hear it rev much higher than you expected.
Try it on your own. As soon as you lightly start to engage the lower...
Here's my take. Lap times don't matter. There's a reason F1 is all paddles now.
I love track downshifting, as mentioned. Very satisfying.
I've never money-shifted an engine, but with enough seat time, it will probably come someday.
I leave the rev-matching on as a backup.
I still heel-toe...
Track mode is more aggressive, but the shifting is more linear.
Sport+ has more throttle advance, making it seem faster, but not really.
The bigger concern to me here is that driving in track mode disables all the nannies and crash avoidance. Necessary on the track, but probably not smart on...
Cool. Let me know. Just to clarify, I'm not suggesting shifting at 4200 from 5th to 6th. lol. At that track, you should be able to run mostly 4th. There shouldn't be a reason to 4-3 shift going downhill, only maybe uphill.
There's plenty of torque from 3500-4500. Not really a need to wind out to 7k each time. Unbalances the car a lot. Try shifting around 4.2k and you'll be able to stay in 4th (and balanced, carrying more speed) around more of the track.
