  1. GT350R Springs for GT (high rate, minimum lowering)

My shocks are JRZ. They have the spherical ends at the top and bottom of the rear shock. Other suspension mods in my sig. You're right, tires make a huge difference. I am on Nitto NT05 with a 275/40R18. The ride quality on my aftermarket wheels is noticeably worse than on my stock PP wheels...
  2. GT350R Springs for GT (high rate, minimum lowering)

WOW. This setup does great on the road course! I think BmacIL hit the nail on the head with a stiff rear spring and softer rear swaybar idea. You can really put down the power a lot easier. I'm probably going to drop down to a 200F/880R rate setup just because the car rides a little bit...
  3. Hi-flow catted downpipe, still pass smog?

Not an expert, but I don't think it would pass visual inspection.
  4. 2015 2016 2017 Ford Mustang Ford Performance Logo RECARO Seat Set Now at RPI Designs

Anybody know if the passenger seat is height adjustable? My girlfriend is short and I don't want to hear any complaining about how she can't see over the dash with the new seats.
  5. Lug nuts..again :(

Yeah there OEM lugs are super soft. I got some $25 ones from American muscle and they hold up much better.
  6. GT350R Springs for GT (high rate, minimum lowering)

Ah, I see your point. I would assume 2.4" upward wheel travel is adequate. But hopefully some folks more knowledgeable than me can chime in and confirm or deny.
  7. GT350R Springs for GT (high rate, minimum lowering)

Thanks for the response Norm. So you're saying I should have about 2.5" of upward travel before I get into the bump stop? Also, take a look at the silver nut at the bottom of the ruler. I probably have 1.75ish " of travel currently.
  8. GT350R Springs for GT (high rate, minimum lowering)

Hey Guys, I wanted to give my initial feedback based on some posts earlier in this thread. I just had a shop install my BMR SP085 (980lb/in) in the rear along with my BMR spherical RLCA bearing and the FP toe-knucle bearing. I kept my front spring rates the same at 250in/lb on my ecoboost. Old...
  9. What is limiting RPM and TQ

Do you have any links or articles that shows an EB motor revving so high? I have not come across any such builds but I would like to accomplish this one day :)
  10. HRE Performance Wheels | Current Wheel Catalog of the Highest Quality Forged Wheels

These wheels are absolutely beautiful. So what sizes and fitments will these be available in for our cars?
  11. From v4 to v8?

Actually, our ecoboosts make around 260WHP stock (which is around 18psi).
  12. 2016 GT base model suspension seems sloppy

I'd say the value of the strut tower brace is debatable, especially if you already have the cowl brace. A good percentage of the hardcore S197 track junkies don't run with strut tower braces because the car is stiff enough and its just adds extra weight. World challenge and TA4 cars don't run a...

  14. Choice of Mods??

I doubt the lightweight driveshaft actually does much in terms of acceleration since the diameter of the driveshaft is rather small (I=m(r^2)). Seems like if you went catback you'd save 28ish lbs and if you went drive shaft you'd save 18ish lbs... I'd probably go catback just because I'd be...
  15. Steeda's New Adjustable Front Coil Over Kit

200lb/in will pair nicely with Steeda Ultralite Linear rear springs (which are 874 or 880lb/in) according to my calculations. On my eco I'm changing up my springs for 225F and 980R. The 200F/880R combo has roughly the same ride frequency relationship between front and rear.
  16. Irregular passenger side rear tire wear

    What PSI are u running?
  17. Bmr CB005 and steeda LCA tips

Be wary of trying to clock your rubber bushings at home. It makes the job so much harder.
  18. New wheels going on in about a week. How many of you have put a sealant on the wheels

I should have put sealant on my forgestars. One of my wheels has some pretty serious water marks/etching.
  19. My Complete Suspension Comparisons to date, Springs, shocks, Coilovers ETC. READ

I think he's running Steeda Pro action shocks + BMR SP080. So pretty much OEM spring rates with upgraded shocks?
