  1. All 2015+ Mustang S550 renders / chops compilation

Global consumers want a mustang because it's a mustang, not something else. Global design, to me, means to cater to standards of quality and modern aesthetics. This can be achieved while looking very American Muscle. The S197 looks modern, but retro, if you care to call it retro. A...
  2. All 2015+ Mustang S550 renders / chops compilation

It would surprise me. This would be very disappointing. Not because it's ugly (it's not, it's a nice looking design) but because it looks like a luxury coupe, not a sports car or muscle car. This looks like the infamous would-be fusion coupe. Hyundai is busting out more aggressive designs...
  3. All 2015+ Mustang S550 renders / chops compilation

S5 is exactly what I thought too. Nice looking cars, but you're right, this is too soft looking. Not very aggressive at all, it doesn't even look like a muscle or a sports car
  4. All 2015+ Mustang S550 renders / chops compilation

Pretty close to what? The lower, slated roofline? Cuz that's basically all you can really see.
  5. New 2015 Mustang Dimensions

I understand the concern of visibility, but this is a performance car guys. The lower roofline and shorter side windows are not going to flat out make it impossible to see. It looks like about 2 inches have been shaved off. Go sit in your s197 and imagine the top 2 inches of your window now...
  6. 2015 Ford Mustang: Auto Designers Say Future Pony Car Has Good Bones, Stunning Look

What makes me happy is to hear that the engine is mounted lower, as well as everything else. Putting the centroid weight of the vehicle closer to the ground, and closer to the 50/50 weight is a huge win.
  7. 2015 Ford Mustang: Auto Designers Say Future Pony Car Has Good Bones, Stunning Look

The latest Mazda 6 chopped a solid 300lbs off their car. Using similar techniques to the "gram strategy" can result in significant weight loss without changing the overall size and materials of the vehicle.
  8. Would you consider buying a 2015 Mustang if it were equipped with .........?

It's because people want the mustang to be unique. The Fusion styling is a huge success.
  9. Rumor: Ford to launch Shelby GT350 model in 2016, Mach 1 returning in 2017

I still find nothing wrong with my 5 speed. With as much HP as my supercharged GT makes, 5 speeds is just fine. It never drops below the peak torque and stays right in the power band when driven hard. 7 speeds is really all there should be worth having in a sports car ever unless you start...
  10. 2015 Mustang GT MSRP $30,900 to $32,955 (Speculative)

With engine carry overs, technically the price shouldn't change. We all know it will, but with not much really being "upgraded" besides IRS and a new body shell, the price should stay the same. Yeah, the interior will be v all new, but there's nothing they are going to do that warrants a price...
  11. Rumor: Ford to launch Shelby GT350 model in 2016, Mach 1 returning in 2017

If they delay DI by just a year and I bought a 2015, I'd be really pissed off.
  12. New 2015 Mustang Dimensions

They look nothing alike. Pffft to their ignorance.
  13. New 2015 Mustang Dimensions

You can get pretty dang close. That analysis has to be fairly accurate.
  14. First 2015 Ford Mustang (s550) Full Prototype on Video! [Updated with V8 Sounds]

It has nothing to do with benchmarking or (lol) masking the exhaust note, because we have no idea what the V6 and Coyote sound like (lol). It's simply a trailer car. What could they possibly be testing between the two on a city street that has anything to do with performance aside from daily...
  15. How should Ford celebrate the 50th ANNIVERSARY

A special edition would be cool. Don't like the hybrid body idea though.
  16. First 2015 Ford Mustang (s550) Full Prototype on Video! [Updated with V8 Sounds]

I'm assuming that is based off a 450hp rumor. Again, just a rumor... 475hp was also rumored with "credibility".
