I don’t know about steam cleaning either. I ceramic coated all 3 sets of my wheels when they were new. That’s what I’d recommend. If you didn’t do that, proceed with caution so you don’t ruin expensive wheels.

No… I have PPF on everything forward of the doors as well as the A-pillars, mirror caps, roof, wing and wheels. That area only has ceramic (quartz) and I put more ceramic over the side stripes after I installed them. The wing graphics (top, bottom and sides) are over PPF though.

The manual lists 2 break-in thresholds: 100/1000. I went beyond that and limited my RPMs to 5k for the 1st 100 miles. I then drove it like I stole it. I waited for the 1000 mark before taking the car to the track. I also did my first oil change at 1000.

I never have. They are blocked off on my 2011 as well. I angle my mirrors outward to see that area.
