  1. 2014 Z28 Assault Thread.

Yep. MR suspension isn't some elusive technology. In fact, more and more companies are looking at it, and the costs aren't much more than a regular shock/strut assembly. The only requirements are several accelerometers over high speed CAN to communicate.
  2. 2014 Z28 Assault Thread.

SVT has some tricks up their sleeve. Don't think this caught them off guard. If the rumors are correct, their next project should counter the Z/28 nicely.
  3. 2014 Z28 Assault Thread.

I read a quote and feel it sums this up best: Ford built a track car that everyone could afford; GM built a track car as a dick measuring/rich guy status symbol. The car is definitely capable, but for $70k, you could buy a multitude of other products that could be used as daily drivers or...

  5. Our 2015 Mustang Preview Derived From CAD Designs

Plenty of suppliers have access to the Ford server that the components reside on. If you know how/where to look, it's not that hard to find.
  6. Our 2015 Mustang Preview Derived From CAD Designs

They can be based off of CAD models, but he still most likely has to translate that to another media for this. I'm sure we'll find subtle differences between this and the finished product.
  7. 2015 Mustang Door Panels - Anyone in Midland, Ontario?

If they're anywhere near the final quality of the Fusion door panels, I don't think anyone can complain.
  8. 2015 Mustang Door Panels - Anyone in Midland, Ontario?

Sounds like some old school Oxcart Area 51 stuff! Door panels are nicer, but nothing radical.
  9. When will the S550 be reveiled?

    This makes sense.
  10. When will the S550 be reveiled?

LA isn't a huge truck market, like Texas or the Midwest. I'm not sure it makes sense from a marketing standpoint to unveil F150 there. Mustang has been unveiled there both for the 2010 and 2013 changes, however, the powertrain changes in 2011 were done at an event in Detroit. With this being the...
  11. Leaked: 2015 Mustang front end in even more production form

Wheelbase can stay the same, if not a tad wider, but the overhangs can shrink a tad. That should give the car a nice, taut look. Going to a smaller car bucks the trend huge (all cars have grown in size the past 25 years) so I don't see it happening.
  12. Platform images

You don't get it. Running a blog doesn't give you some magical knowledge of the inner workings. There are multiple examples that OEM's use a similar overall shape, but heavily rework the frame/chassis of a vehicle. See the upcoming Cruze and 2013 Ram as some examples. You don't have to go in a...
  13. Leaked: 2015 Mustang front end in even more production form

The lights aren't final yet. Don't expect LED lamps on Mustang.
  14. Leaked: 2015 Mustang front end in even more production form

The tin foil hats are strong in this thread.
  15. Leaked: 2015 Mustang front end in even more production form

Grilles are different. The bars aren't covered. I agree with you on the markers above the fogs. They need to be smoked.
  16. Leaked: 2015 Mustang front end in even more production form

The hood is still covered up quite a bit. I agree the picture doesn't really do much, considering it's low quality. Keep in mind, the headlamps are not production intent. The amber reflex lenses on the corners appear to be tacked on. Just enough to keep it street legal for now.
  17. Leaked: 2015 Mustang front end in even more production form

Given that the car is blocked off from the rest of the building, and the camo is rolled back, this reeks of someone snapping a quick photo to try and make a buck.
  18. Leaked: 2015 Mustang front end in even more production form

...and cue the witch hunt around Dearborn to find the person who leaked those pics. Interesting grille design. I prefer the one spotted at Grattan. I also don't care for the markers above the fog lamps. They stick out too much on the black. Headlamp design isn't final either.
