HIDs standard would be a solid starting point and continue on the principles established by the '13-14 models. I don't like the idea of going backwards at all.
I agree 100%. I have said for years that all Mustang models should have LED lighting, HIDs, and Sync as standard fare across the lineup. The 2013MY was really close to my "ideal" car. I wasn't happy to hear they chose to go back to halogens as a standard lamp.
Were the headlamps different, other than halogen or HID? The pony badge was chrome for the V6 and black chrome for the GT, but I didn't notice the headlamps were.

The MRC comparison is a moot point IMO. Very few in the public know what it is, and most will never lay eyes on it. They'd be better off to use tracks like Gingerman or Grattan and offer a comparison to tracks most buyers have access too. Hell, go to Mid-Ohio if you want...
