I bought a used pair of PP Brembo front calipers and had them powder coated and I've rebuilt them. Turned out really nice. Just need to add the Brembo decals and install with my new rotors. Before and after photos.
I'm going to replace the front rotors on my 2017 PP. Lot of choices out there. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm having the calipers powder coated and will rebuild them so figured why not some slotted rotors.
I've had my Roush Phase 2 supercharger on for about two months and today went to an arena parking lot to see how it behaved wot from a slow roll. Well first gear gave lots of wheel spin but stayed pretty straight until I banged second and then she got a little sideways. I just dumped the clutch...
Anyone know where I can find instructions for rebuilding my front Brembo calipers? I've already purchased the rebuild kits. Id like to have instructions if I can find them. I've looked but no luck. It's not rocket science but I want to do it just once.
I bought a pair of Brembo calipers off ebay and am going to powder coat them yellow and rebuild them. I see lots of decals on line but I'm concerned about quality. I just want to do it once. Suggestions welcomed.
I've had the supercharger on since late November and am running Amsoil 5w50 full synthetic as it's what Brenspeed uses. I installed new oil pump gear at the time of installation. My oil pressure gauge is reading close to sixty pounds at 2500 rpm and that seems high. These cars hold a lot of oil...
I've read a lot of posts about tire brands and tire sizes used on supercharged cars and it seems that other than with drag radials wheel spin remains an issue. I've got a 2017 PP with a Roush Phase 2 and am wondering if dropping the money for wider rims is worth it? My car is a dd and I don't...
I finally finished getting the lettering colored in. It's a pain in the rear end but it came out pretty good. I used various sizes of Sharpies acrylic paint pens. I used a fine line to initially outline each letter and then filled them in with a broader tipped one. I did several coats because it...
I'm thinking about buying a set of the new Mach 1 wheels for my 2017 gt PP. There a staggered set 10.5 front 11.0 rear. I'm going to need tires next spring so might pop for the whole deal.
I've read a bit about Ravenol and decided to give it a try. After two days of driving I'll say that there is a noticeable difference for the better. Overall everything feels much smoother. I'm no expert on viscosity or any technical aspects of automotive fluids but I know how it feels. I'd do it...
After doing some reading on Ravenol I decided to give it a try. I changed the fluid this morning and after drive of about fifty miles I do notice a difference. It just feels smoother. Was it worth the almost $70? I suppose that depends on the owner. I'm always looking for small improvements so...
I got the braces on today and I can feel an immediate difference in the ass end of the car. I installed vertical links when I had my supercharger installed. Next install will be Steeda full length jacking rails. I'd say then I'm done but we all know that would be a lie.
I'm loving this thing. I had a chance to take the car to an arena parking lot and play around a bit and I'm still smiling. This week I'm installing the Steeda subframe braces and putting Ravenol in the trans. Will check in after that's completed and I've been back to the parking lot.
I'm going to change my transmission fluid next week and see how Ravenol works. I know it's not necessary at my mileage but I'm always looking for improvements. For anyone with the Mt82 with stock shift linkage I enthusiastically recommend the Barton Short Throw shifter. It was one of my first...
So I've had the supercharger on for a week and I'm loving it. I'm running Roush axle backs and Xpipe resonator delete and I'm taking the Xpipe off and reinstalling the original. After the dyno pulls the axle backs must have blown out some because this thing is obnoxiously loud. I haven't had a...
I just read about this and have a couple of questions.
Will Lund give me a code to unlock the gauge?
When unlocked am I able to get other tunes and load them via the Ngauge? Just last week I installed a Roush Phase 2 on my 2017 gt/PP and am currently running the Roush tune for emissions but...
