I would say GT350/R is more in line with a C7 GS ... both the S550 and C7 platforms were introduced around 2014/15 while C8 is entirely new next gen platform.

Raced my buddy's 2015 Turbo S from a 60-70 roll, lets just say having all those gears and all that automatic-ness doesn't help against a big V8 that has a higher redline. :rockon: These cars are faster than people think. I love my Shelby GT350.
