Gotta pack more steels and frictions in at that horsepower... Talked to McLeod about this and those GPZ packs are good till 1000whp and then they can’t hold. They did come out with better frictions (think green) but are track only and haven’t heard how good they are. Best thing to do is add more...
wondering if anyone has a set of rear O2 sensors they wanna sell, need them to pass the yearly nuisance and don’t have my old ones. For 2018 Mustang GT 10R80 car
Your best bet is to go for a ride in both and see what you would want, if possible. It’s power delivery that’s different. Bunch of posts about it on here taking about it.
Hi all,
I talked to Terry from beefcake, he was very helpful, but aftermarket for 3.15 is pretty much nonexistent which is crazy to me with many people running them.
@Brazos69 I did find the Torsten you are talking about but they are out of stock and ended up leaving a voicemail to see when...
Ain’t no one doing 2nd gear pull on the street with a blower without a drag tire haha. They are okay in 3rd (manageable slip with a little driver finesse) and 4th hooked pretty decent in 50 degree weather for me with a 10R80 car. When it’s warm, 3rd pulls are goooood.
Cooked my aluminum diff so going to build a cast iron one. Is there any Aftermarket diff that will work with 3.15 gears? I've heard some people using a Wavetrac but Wavetrac said it wouldnt work. Please let me know what you guys think or know of any that will.
My local track is pretty easy going and should be able to run 9s all day. Technically the car is safe for 10 second passes from the factory and now with a 6pt, can run 9s on testntune nights, that’s really all I do. If you’re going to race in competitions, 100% you’re gonna the 10pt.
I’m 26 and have a Whipple 18 10R80 car, making around 850-900whp. Always loved muscle cars, but couldn’t ever afford one till I graduated college and got a decent job. Drove a camaro, challenger, and mustang. Mustang was the best all around so here I am and love everything about it so far...
So picked up a 3.5 griptec pulley and was wondering what belt I should get. I know it’s a 81.5” 6 rib belt just don’t know what make to get. Just go with the standard gates micro-v? Any recommendations please add part #.
Thanks Guys
