my CHT's hover around 205-207 during traffic with a/c on, with a/c off it hovers around 215-220. the IAT's are usually 5-10 degrees hotter than ambient while moving, however in traffic they rise up to around 130ish from what ive seen. its been in the 105-115F here in dfw area.
i don't have a...
i can hear the fuel pump prime when i press the clutch in to start. could be diff for 2018's though due to the added direct injection.
i know my friends 17' silverado pump primes when he opens the door.
almost sounds like you have a loose ground somewhere.
i know there's a few grounds under the stock intake airbox, check those. else just look around heh.
my car just went in for diags related to this. driver side air con was coming in on the warmer side of cool while pass side was cold, it was also really low on freon. didn't see any leakage on the engine bay so assuming its the evap core. dealer said they were gonna diag today and tell me by...
i don't believe there's much of a diff between gen 2 & gen 3 coyotes when it comes to changing the port injectors.(DI injectors/rails are under the intake manifold)
you could maybe get away without having to remove the fuel line from the rail by the looks of it.
well at least it sounds like theyre trying to take care of ya. suck that it happened in the first place but hopefully it'll get resolved in a decent manner.
id say yeah if you found a piece of the block and a piston ring outside of the engine then the block is trash. most likely threw a rod...
this did happen to me. my cradle was out of alignment after installing vogtland sport plus springs (1.5" front 1.3" rear drop)- the shop i took it for alignment got it centered and the wheels aligned. i also installed the steeda irs cradle bushings at the same time I did the springs and it was...
that seems weird. don't they ask for pcm & mileage readout when buying these to swap into 15-17's? they should be able to correct the mileage eitherway.
so i got the tires updated based on your excel sheet and it seems pretty spot on both cruise/analog gauge vs waze gps (i know, not the most accurate, dont' have access to some sort of real gps)
however when i went into engineering mode it was still off by about 2mph or so (68mph vs 70mph at...
very nice. i really like how you guys are testing out new things (specially the DI pump) on these engines. it is pretty amazing when the stock block took that much power and is still running after.
what suspension/cradle mods do you have on the rear? on stock everything i would get some pretty bad wheelhop trying to launch even on the stock pirellis on 1st/2nd depending on how i shifted.
ive got lowering springs & bmr cb005 now but haven't gone to the track yet as i am in need of new...
thats a nifty tool for the valve spring retainers. good to know thanks for the writeup.
i battled alot and made my own tool to replace the seals on a car i used to own, that was fun.
