But has anyone actually had luck with the dealer just giving you the kit?? I’d think that unlikely, but guess ya never know.
My dealer gave me the kit and I installed. Easy to do and looks great.
For those who own GT350s titled after Feb 17, please get the bumper gap TSB fix done or get the box of parts from your Ford dealership before the original 3 yr/36K mile bumper-to-bumper warranty expires. I just test drove a 2016 Track Pack and the previous 3 owners failed to get the bumper gap...
I'm not an auto-blip fan. My 2016 M2 has it and it takes away the joy of achieving the perfect rev-match. I was not proficient with heel-toe when I attended Track Attack...but now am "closer" after a year of practice. Most of the that practice was in my '09 Accord coupe. Now I heel-toe...
As someone who has owned both, the difference is huge. Get the R. Never look back or doubt you made the right choice the first time. Unlike many of us.
I've never had that problem. Sounds like you encounter some roads/parking lots/driveways with steep grade changes. Try taking those grade changes at an angle to keep the bottom/leading edge of your splitter clear of the tarmac.

3. If you drive it like a race car, it...
That sounds like timing chain rattling due to the tensioners loosing oil pressure. It's the first sign the oil pump pressure control valve is failing. Keep an eye on the oil pressure!
I'd wait for the C8 and GT500 releases. Availablity of both cars could possible drive down the prices of a GT350/R. Plus, you'll be able to actually see and drive all three for comparison.
I actually didn’t want my engine replaced. It ran strong with negligible oil burn. I wanted to keep the matching VIN block for future value retention. So all’s we’ll with me with the replaced parts.
I had the same exact sound. It’s just a matter of time before your oil pressure dumps. Direct...
I've seen videos and read multiple GT350 forum posts from folks with diesel engine-like sounds eminating from their Voodoo. I've read posts saying that dealerships should or will replace the long block. Well...I was living the same nightmare. My Voodoo started sounding like a diesel engine...
