thats whats great about forums!! pretty sure i will go 4c as it looks like it will work pretty well in both scenarios. driveability comes second to performance for me. on the flip side i will sacrifice .1-.2 (with 4c NA) to NOT have to send the converter off to downsize when i put the blower on...
i have had a car with a converter before, so i am familiar with the driving characteristics. i guess i was more wondering how much et i would be leaving on the table NA with the 4c vs supercharged with a 5c
not sure how long it would be before i add boost.... guess i will have a decision to make.
also, the car is a second car and i live in a rural area, luckily traffic doesnt really factor in
thanks for the info on the cooler.
as for the converter, any regrets? wish you had gone bigger/smaller? feel like you are leaving any ET on the table vs the 5c?
with the crazy high power band of the coyote i just cant help but feel that the bigger the converter, the better:eyebulge:
ideally i would like to hear from someone who has had both. how do they compare? I will be NA for a while with plans on a paxton down the road. from what i gather, 5c is better NA and the 4c would be better with the paxton. i am trying to have my cake and eat it too though!!
also, are people...
This! I bought the car that he drove for a year and its a bit loud but i could easily adjust to it. Since it came with the mach thunder mid pipe i will put that on and i am GUESSING i will like it better.
I did have my wife drive it down the street and under normal circumstances its really not...
... you buy a second one because "sharing" with the wife just isnt enough alone time with the car???:headbang::headbang::cheers::cheers::D

This!
im reading this thread and thinking HOLY COW... these people really think that because they are spending X dollars that there shouldnt be issues?!?!!? have you never modified cars before??? anyone who wants stock reliability and driveability should leave the car stock. those who want more...
ok got mine installed as well. I will say this to address the comment about fit. The fit is totally dependent on the installer, there are 3 connections (pipe to h pipe, pipe to muffler and muffler to tip) and each one is adjustable. the fit on mine is as good as stock and i could probably fit it...
while an investment is never the goal with a play toy, if i am looking at two options and one would hold its value and the other wouldnt, thats definitely a pro!!!
low mile cobras are 20-25k so a little cheaper, but not terribly much. Thing is, cobra will hold its value, gt wont (no offense to anyone, i have one too!!). This car would just be a play toy and the 2016 isnt going anywhere.
I just seems weird to buy a second of the exact same car, i feel like...
