Well I made it down, there wasn't the 100+ cars that some have noted in the past but I still think there was a good turnout!

seriously??? READ THE THREAD!! somebody asked that earlier and I went out and put the car through several braking scenarios including in the grass and several evasive maneuver braking scenarios and ABS seemed to work fine (as can be noted in my comments earlier in the thread):headbonk:

re-read the thread. there is no button to deactivate it all. the only way to truly deactivate it is to pull fuse 62. holding the traction control toggle will disable advancetrac, but it still bogs when you hit 2nd.

oh I did forget to mention that pulling the fuse seemed to disable all track apps and line lock. I couldn't get any of them to wok. plugged the fuse back in and they all worked perfectly

its only 5A but I do not know how much the system draws and I am afraid of causing issues if I extend the wire enough to run in the cabin and back...

in other news, I think I am going to wire up a switch with a relay to that fuse so that I can "turn it off" from inside the car....

no sir, not me!! I was only reporting my findings and I would never condone or encourage anyone to make such modifications then attempt to use the car on the street.... offroad only!!! lol

just the two lights related to TC/AT (the disabled light and the light that illuminates if the wheels are spinning when those functions are ON.

well I did some playing on the way home both in some grass and on pavement (with evasive maneuvers). in all situations abs appeared to work with fuse 62 removed.

I can not positively answer this (will test that this afternoon) but no abs lights came on as a result...

THAT'S IT!!! fuse 62 under the hood. Pulled it, stabbed it, tires went up in smoke well into second gear (I actually had to let out). Thanks for the info!

think I will give this a shot. at the very least it will be much easier at the track since I wont have to remember to deactivate everything. what fuse/where is it?

ok, went out and did some testing this afternoon. brake pressed + button held for a while = advancetrac off- status of TC unknown- press TC again (to see if I can also turn TC off)= everything back on I tried as many options as I could and the car only spun like 3'. As a last ditch effort...

i plasti dipped mine over the weekend, the signals are held in by 2 torx screws and 3 little clips. they are secure but easily removable.

yea, from what i see on the premium i just hold the traction control switch for some amount of time (8sec is possible) then the advancetrac disabled pops up. it just seems like this car should kill the tires and it doesn't. i mean, i wont complain if it really hooks that good, i just don't see...
